When a Well-Raised Son Grows Up - Chapter 44
Chapter 44
At night, while Abella slept, Carlisle acted as if he had never held a woman’s hand before, daring to do more than just kiss her.
He spoke carefully after a long pause.
“Well, then… I will try it right away.
While they were talking, Carlisle gently held the back of Abella’s neck with his big hand. Soon after, their lips met.
Their lips separated, and a tongue entered Abella’s mouth gently and eagerly.
Carlisle blushed and made soft sounds. He behaved like an untamed colt just before the kiss began. He explored every part of her mouth a little eagerly, sharing their breath.
While Carlisle wagged his tail in excitement, Abella was shocked by this unexpected action, and her body became as stiff as a log.
“Hmph…….”
Carlisle held the slender woman tightly as she trembled like an aspen tree. He moved his tongue in her mouth with a swirling motion.
He tilted his head to look at her, his teeth grazing over his gums and teeth.
Carlisle’s relentless behavior caused Abella to feel a strange sensation. She felt a dizzying tightness in her p*ssy. She flinched every time he touched her sensitive flesh with his tongue.
Not only were her lips unfamiliar against his, but her whole body was as well. It was full of hard muscle.
She remembered the young Carlisle she first met. A twinge of guilt came over her.
‘I never imagined that such a small and adorable child would turn out like this…’
When they first met, he was not like this. Abella unintentionally caressed the muscles of his back as they writhed in memory.
Saliva is blended, and hot tongues are entwined. They both gasped strangely, and the room grew eerily warm.
Abella thought it was the kind of kiss a true lover would give.
She wondered if there was any reason to be so passionate about the imprinting, but if it eased his fears, she was willing to take it.
A burst of light shot out between them. Abella felt a strange sensation that she had never experienced before. She realized that something was being imprinted on her body.
‘This is weird.’
Someone seemed to be scribbling on her body with a quill pen. She sank deeper into Carlisle’s arms as if to escape the strange sensation, and he held her tighter as if waiting for her.
The glowing sensation faded, and the strange touch, like something etched into her body, disappeared. She knew the imprinting was complete, even without anyone telling her, as Carlisle had mentioned.
Oddly, he didn’t withdraw himself despite the evident conclusion of the imprint. Instead, he continued avidly seeking her lips, akin to a hungry beast.
She exclaimed in panic, “How much longer will you do this?” Despite her attempts to push against his chest and wriggle free, his hard, unyielding body remained unmoved.
She struggled and felt out of place. Carlisle gently stroked the back of her head.
Abella managed to utter the words “Please, stop!” between breaths. After a brief pause, Carlisle ran his lips over the tender flesh one last time and slowly withdrew.
“The imprinting is over, isn’t it?”
Abella asked with a hint of rebuke. Carlisle shook his head awkwardly. He seemed unsure.
He looked shy, like a virgin offering his virginity, as his lips parted. He smoothed his blush from ear to ear.
“Did you feel… offended?”
Carlisle said softly, catching Abella’s eye.
“No, I don’t; I liked it.”
He spoke with pure and unadulterated words, expressing his feelings with the innocence of an unspoiled child.
“If I thought about doing this with another female, I’d be offended, but doing it with my mom is strangely good, all of it.”
Abella paused at the words. Should Carlisle be thinking about this now? She felt confused.
The little child that had grown in her arms, so tiny and adorable, kissed her, blushed, and said yes. Abella closed her eyes tightly.
“This can’t be right; this is wrong.”
Although she was aware of the strangeness of the situation, she couldn’t see it. This was due to a simple reason.
Because I’m not so different from Carlisle.
‘If you believe you are kissing another man’
Abella thought of Hans from the fruit shop, the only other person her age who was close to her. She was thinking.
‘Imagine kissing Hans and intertwining tongues like she just did with Carlisle…’
However, the imagination did not last long. The idea made the action disgusting and made her sick to her stomach.
The sensation was uncomfortable, like a bug crawling over her lips. She frowned immediately.
‘Of course, I know Hans isn’t a bad person. However, realizing that I had done the same thing to him made me feel uncomfortable. Additionally, Hans’ appearance had significantly changed.’
‘Why the hell…’
‘I do not hate Carlisle, but I do hate Hans.’
Abella struggled to deny it.
‘Carlisle and I are family. I raised him, so it’s only natural that I don’t resent him.
She attempted to comfort herself with that.
‘It is not strange.’
She thought it was just another form of maternal love. It made her feel a little less uncomfortable. Abella smiled faintly. She wiped her lips absentmindedly. They were wet with saliva, which she didn’t recognize.
‘The child I raised is my only family. I wouldn’t exchange it for all the gold and silver in the world.’
“Can you stop feeling so afraid now?”
Carlisle smiled as a gentle voice echoed through the room.
“Yes, I can now rest peacefully because I’ll be with my mom for the rest of my life.”
He said this and gently nuzzled his cheek against the nape of her neck.
“Thank you, Mom.”
Abella nodded instead of answering, and she patted Carlisle. He leaned into her, and she let out a sigh of relief when she heard his voice relax. It was as if he hadn’t been so worried.
“It’s okay, you did well.”
Abella felt relieved when she saw his tail wagging happily in her arms. It is unclear what Carlisle is thinking.
* * *
At the end of the day, Carlisle crawled into bed with Abella, smiling from ear to ear. Recently, a smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.
And for a good reason. He is thrilled to have obtained the pet imprint he wanted so badly and easily.
His desire to have children—to have a real family—is pretty much gone now.
There was no way he would be separated from Abella after imprinting. He is going to spend the rest of his life with her now that he is imprinted, and even if she runs off somewhere to escape him, he will be able to find her thanks to their bond.
He had no reason to be afraid, no reason to worry.
“Lately, you seem to be in a good mood.”
Abella whispered as she crawled under the covers and yawned loudly once. Carlisle smiled and pulled the blankets over her.
“Yes, I won’t have to be separated from you anymore.”
“Is that good?”
“Of course.”
The way he smiled at her, his cruel smile, and his set jaw were cruel.
Carlisle cleaned up Abella’s bed and threw a few more logs into the fireplace, and a rush of warm air wafted into the bed.
Abella’s eyelids drooped heavily as she watched Carlisle’s attentive behavior.
In truth, he was content after sharing the imprint.
It had always bothered him that he and she weren’t family. Recently, Esha’s words have hurt quite a bit.
‘I believe there is now a connection between us.’
‘I realized that I did not feel envious of her biological family, despite the absence of any shared blood.’
In his usual wolf form, Carlisle curled up in the corner of the bed.
It was a comfortable night, as usual.
