Not Sober - Chapter 1. Part 4
Chapter 1. Part 4
“But Jenna, your first time should always be with a handsome guy.”
“Love changes anyway, and we’re not likely to find a lifelong partner at our age. So, it’s better to have your first experience with someone good-looking.”
“I agree. Let him be the one to remember as handsome. I don’t recall how much he loved me or what he did. I’m just left with negative emotions.”
Jenna remembered the words and thought about their meaning while with Sung-chan, who embodied the qualities her classmates mentioned.
Jenna kept stealing glances at Sung-chan across the table. She felt attracted to him but wasn’t sure if it was the alcohol or her classmates’ words influencing her. She wished she could have a relationship with him but didn’t know how to approach him.
Sung-chan was happy to see his classmate Jenna, and he treated her with care and affection. Sung-chan was unaware of Jenna’s inner thoughts. Jenna felt the verbal abuse from her parents slowly fade away.
Jenna felt liberated as she acted rebelliously, breaking free from the restrictions that had held her captive her entire life. The alcohol had emboldened her and given her a sense of liberation.
Jenna had been drinking and had decided to get some fresh air. She saw Sung-chan stepping out for a smoke and followed him, despite being intoxicated.
“Hey, brother!” Jenna called out to Sung-chan, who looked surprised to see her.
‘Oh, you’re smoking,’ she observed, her mind wandering even in this moment, as she approached him with an unusual tension in her step.
Even the way Sung-chan held his cigarette between his lips seemed like an art form to Jenna. Even if she hated the smell of tobacco, she felt drawn to the smoke when it emanated from him.
Jenna felt this temptation when she spoke those bold words to the Sung-chan she was carrying.
“Sleep with me.”
Jenna would normally be surprised by such a bold proposal, but Sung-chan remained unfazed, his eyes fixed on her with a solemn intensity.
Sung-chan may have already been asked this question many times before. He maintained his expression, except for a slight movement of one eyebrow.
“Oh, perhaps I should have asked more politely?” Jenna mused aloud, feeling a hint of embarrassment creeping in.
‘Would you mind having s*x with me?’ Or maybe you could try inserting your p*n*s into my v*g*n* just once, just to experience the sensation… Asking for s*x less than three hours after talking up wasn’t a good idea.
Jenna couldn’t stop herself from blurting out the words, surprising even herself. She never thought she would say something so bold.
Perhaps it was because Sung-chan had seemed so approachable at the bar, contrary to the rumors circulating about him. But Jenna was oblivious to the truth.
“Why me?” he asked.
The warmth in Sung-chan’s eyes vanished, replaced by a coldness that sent shivers down Jenna’s spine. He looked at her critically, and his attitude became cold and unwelcoming.
But Jenna persisted despite obstacles. She felt like an unstoppable train.
“You’re the most handsome man I know,” she blurted out, her voice tinged with a mixture of boldness and vulnerability.
“I want to have s*x with a handsome man,” Jenna declared boldly. Sung-chan, taken aback, dropped his cigarette in embarrassment. What kind of woman would flirt so openly?
Jenna watched Sung-chan’s reaction. She felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. Maybe, just maybe, she could have her first s*x with this handsome man. Jenna was excited to think about defying her mother’s obsession with her v*rginity.
Sung-chan stayed silent for a long time. Jenna realized that any other man would have reacted the same way. She knew that if she were sober, she would not have made such a bold move.
“Is it a rejection?” She felt disappointed but quickly reassured herself that there were plenty of other handsome men out there. She knew that if she kept trying, she would eventually find someone willing to fulfill her desires.
Just as her anticipation began to wane after such a long silence, the silence broke with his question, and it was one she didn’t see coming.
“Are you Ada?”
Jenna was momentarily taken by surprise by Sung-chan’s unexpected question. Her mind raced as she tried to understand what he meant. She had only anticipated rejection or acceptance, not being asked if she was Ada.
Confused, Jenna stared at Sung-chan, unable to form a coherent response. She asked Sung-chan for clarification, “What did you just say?”
“Are you Ada?” he repeated, his tone serious.
Sung-chan’s question was stopped in its tracks by Jenna’s stunned reaction. She quickly shook her head, feeling a flush of embarrassment spread across her face.
“No, I’m not Ada,” she replied hastily, hoping to avoid any misunderstandings.
Sung-chan seemed taken aback by Jenna’s answer, his unexpected question catching her off guard. She felt embarrassed and struggled to understand the situation.
“I’m not having s*x with someone I haven’t had s*x with,” he said. His voice was tinged with annoyance.
“Why not?” Jenna insisted.
Sun-chan replied with frustration, “I don’t want to feel regret or be treated poorly afterward.”
Sung-chan scowled and shrugged dismissively, leaving Jenna feeling confused and uncertain.
“It is amusing how you pretend to be close just because you had s*x once.”
“Ah…….”
Jenna was not sure if he was talking about old s*x partners, but she just stared at him blankly.
“I hate that shit.”
“…….”
“But most Adas’ do. F*ck, bothering people by giving their first f*ck a f*cking meaning…”
Watching him spit out the vulgarity, Jenna was suddenly sober. Her mind, which was foggy from alcohol, became clear.
“Wait, what? What did you just say?”
“First f*ck… ? disgusting…”
Sung-chan soft and sweet words were gone. Instead, Jenna was met with a scowl and a look that blatantly judged her body.
“But I kind of like you.”
“It’s ……?”
Jenna wanted to speak her mind, but she refrained from doing so. He laughed and said, “I like it,” as if he could see right through her face.
“…….”
“Especially the part where you say I’m the most handsome man you know.”
Sung-chan’s reaction to Jenna’s comment about his looks stunned her into silence. Despite her uncertainty, Sung-chan seemed genuinely pleased.
“I see,” Sung-chan replied, acknowledging Jenna’s words.
Jenna was confused by Sung-chan’s unexpected response.
“Um, I’m not sure,” Jenna muttered, feeling unsure how to respond.
She looked at Sung-chan and wondered if his behavior was an ego trip.
Despite acknowledging Sung-chan’s undeniable attractiveness, Jenna couldn’t help but be wary of his seemingly self-absorbed behavior. She decided to keep her distance, sensing that getting too involved would only lead to exhaustion.
Jenna was unaware of Sung-chan’s intentions. He opened the back door of his parked car nearby and instructed her to get in.
“Get in.”
Confused by his unexpected invitation, Jenna hesitated before responding.
“It’s… huh?”
“You said you wanted to f*ck me.”
“Oh……..”
Her mind was filled with thoughts of having s*x with him, but strangely enough, she couldn’t think of anything else.
“Get in”
Jenna considered Sung-chan’s offer. She couldn’t deny his impressive appearance. Despite her doubts, she thought it might be worth a try, even if it didn’t lead to anything important.
Sung-chan interrupted just as she was about to accept, speaking in a serious tone.
“Let’s not pretend that we are friends just because we had s*x once.”
Jenna reassured Sung-chan, nodding to emphasize her sincerity. However, Sung-chan remained unconvinced, suspicion evident in his narrowed eyes and stern tone.
“I’m not joking,” he said sternly.
“I understand, I promise I won’t pretend to be something I’m not,” Jenna replied, attempting to ease his worries. She sensed his dislike for dishonest people.
As they got into the car, Jenna relaxed in her seat. She was relieved that she hadn’t taken the situation into criminal territory, but she couldn’t help but admire Sung-chan’s perfect side view, noticing the flawless contours of his sideburns.
‘The prince was no longer being violent with his mouth shut.’
‘I wish you could remain silent during s*x.’
Jenna thought about that for a moment.
She should be grateful. His unwelcome narcissism pushed her thoughts of her parents as far away as Andromeda.
