Summary
Lysithea Hirennaire del Arman, the youngest daughter of a Marquis, lost her entire family in the revolution and went into hiding. Terrence Cadas, her last broker, was waiting for her at the rendezvous point for their escape. Terrence Cadas greeted her by saying, “The sea is freezing, Lysithea.” They were stranded in an abandoned mansion on a snowy field during a cold winter with snowstorms.
