How audacious.
It was comfortable being in his arms, so I stayed still, but I felt like I should get down. However, as Sidon pointed toward the living room ahead, I missed the chance to get down and ended up staying in his arms.
“Wait here. I’ll take care of the little one and come back. If you want to leave while you’re waiting, that’s fine too.”
After saying that, Sidon checked Ding’s expression before moving away. It seemed like he didn’t want to show how he was going to treat her.
I watched Sidon walk away for a moment before looking in the direction he went.
The room is located at the very end.
“Terisier.”
I pushed against Terisier’s shoulder and slipped out of his embrace. He let me go more easily than I expected.
He watched me as he straightened his hair, which hadn’t completely dried yet.
“What are you doing?”
“I’m going to sneak a peek.”
I saw where they went, so I should be able to follow them quietly.
If Terisier could use his ability on others, I would have asked him to turn me into a small animal. Unfortunately, his ability, like Phel’s, seemed to only work on himself.
I walked quietly down the corridor, trying to muffle my footsteps. After watching me for a moment, Terisier followed.
Sidon either didn’t think we’d follow him or he was just careless because he didn’t close the door.
Peeking through the slightly open door, I saw Sidon laying Ding down on the bed.
“Sidon… It hurts…”
“Why do you keep asking others to show you their abilities in such risky ways? It’s annoying to keep reminding you that using them is dangerous every time I have to heal you…”
Sidon grumbled in response to Ding’s whining.
Forgetting every time he heals her, huh?
Sidon placed his hand on Ding’s forehead. Soon, a faint light began to emanate from his hand.
The light gradually enveloped Ding’s entire body. Ding, who had been looking at Sidon with half-open eyes, slowly closed them. Judging by the slight rise and fall of her chest, she seemed to have fallen asleep.
After confirming that Ding was asleep, Sidon appeared to focus more intensely, as the light from his hand grew stronger.
So, Sidon is gifted.
I’m not exactly sure what his ability is, but it’s probably related to healing, and Ding falling asleep must be part of the conditions for it.
Does she need to be asleep for the healing to work?
It seemed to take quite a while, as Sidon closed his eyes and focused.
As I continued to watch, suddenly, an arm reached toward my chest and mouth. A large hand covered my mouth, while the other hand roughly grabbed my chest.
It was obvious who it was, so I glared at Terisier, who was standing behind me, but he didn’t stop and began to knead my chest. I could feel his erect*on pressing blatantly against my b*ttocks.
Terisier unb*ttoned my shirt and slipped his hand inside, pulling on my n*pple. He alternated between gently rolling it and pinching it hard.
If Terisier hadn’t been covering my mouth, a moan would have escaped. Even though Sidon was deeply focused, it was hard to believe that Terisier was getting ar*used in this situation.
Under any other circ*mstances, it might have been different, but here we were spying on Sidon, who was almost certainly a spy for Zerdan, and Terisier didn’t seem to care.
His touches grew more urgent. He pulled his hand away from my chest, lowered his pants, and began to pull out his erect*on.
I could easily guess what he was about to do, so I tried to move my hips from side to side to signal him to stop, but even that seemed to excite him more, as he grabbed my waist with one hand.
He rubbed his erect m*mber against my bare b*ttocks, then slowly began to insert it into my already w*t entrance. In an instant, I was filled with Terisier. Not satisfied with just that, he began to move his hips slowly.
Despite everything, my body began to heat up. Even though Sidon was deeply focused, he would surely notice what was happening if we were this close.
I pinched Terisier’s forearm lightly and gestured toward the living room. He lifted me and started walking there, his erect*on still deep inside me.
Terisier seemed intent on humiliating me, moving with my legs spread wide apart.
Maybe it’s because he’s just now discovering his s*xuality, but his relentless actions were wearing me out.
He set me down near the edge of the sofa, lifted one of my legs, and resumed his movements. With my legs spread, Terisier’s m*mber penetrated even deeper.
To keep from falling over, I supported myself with my arms against the edge of the sofa, enduring his thrusts.
“Damn it…”
It seemed like he was trying to hold back, as Terisier leaned his forehead against my shoulder, looking like a struggling young animal.
I was also at my limit from the sudden stimulation. I grabbed Terisier by the back of the neck and kissed him roughly. As I tightened around him, he gripped my thigh so hard that it left marks.
Heat spread through my body as Terisier reached his cl*max, releasing a rough breath. When he pulled out, his s*men, which I couldn’t fully contain, began to drip down.
I lay back on the sofa as his s*men dripped down to my ankles.
“Wipe it off. It’s your s*men, Terisier.”
Lying on the sofa, I lifted one leg and extended it toward Terisier, causing him to frown.
Yet, as he began looking around the living room for something to clean with, a strange satisfaction, like taming a grumpy cat, surged up from my toes.
* * *
“What are you doing?”
Sidon, having finished whatever he was doing in the room, walked out and dumbly asked upon seeing Terisier.
I was lying leisurely on the sofa, while Terisier was busy wiping something off my leg.
Even though Sidon hadn’t seen Terisier often, he knew enough about his personality to find such behavior odd.
Terisier remained silent in response to Sidon’s question, so I smiled and answered in his place.
“Something got on my leg, so he’s cleaning it off. It was because of Terisier. But how’s Ding doing?”
“She’s fine. She should be able to get up soon after a bit more rest.”
“That’s a relief. It seems Ding is more sensitive to abilities than others.”
“Yeah, you could say it’s a kind of rejection. It’s pretty severe, so she ends up like that sometimes.”
“But she seemed fine with your ability, Sidon.”
At my words, Sidon’s expression stiffened.
He looked at me, and I just smiled back calmly. He sighed, probably recalling the door that had been left open when he came out.
“So you were spying on us. Keep it a secret, will you? It’s not a particularly special ability, and I don’t want to deal with the ha$sle if others find out.”
“So, saying you were a medical student was a lie then?”
Sidon clammed up at Terisier’s words. It was obvious to anyone that he had intentionally deceived us.
Terisier’s expression darkened.
From his perspective, it must have felt like a huge betrayal. Someone he considered a comrade had hidden their abilities and refused to use them when help was needed. Without knowing the full story, Terisier was likely misunderstanding it as mere laziness.
“You were hiding it because you didn’t want it to be revealed that you’re a spy for Zerdan, right?”
“What?”
Terisier stood up abruptly at my words. Fearing he might attack, I grabbed his wrist and pulled him back onto the sofa.
So impulsive.
“You’re not denying it.”
“Hmm…”
Sidon blinked, then tilted his head, as if he didn’t see a reason to hide it.
“If you didn’t verify whether I had ties to Zerdan from the start, isn’t that your mistake? Zerdan didn’t tell me to hide it, and I just didn’t answer because no one asked.”
“Is that supposed to be an excuse…!”
“Sidon is right. And Sidon hasn’t caused us any harm so far. He’s helped us even if he didn’t use his ability. So calm down, Terisier.”
We didn’t have time to deal with an agitated Terisier when we needed to gather information about Sidon.
Sensing the firmness in my voice, Terisier seemed to catch on to my urgency. Although he continued to glare at Sidon, he remained seated, indicating that he would stay put for now.
“What mission did Sidon have with Zerdan? There must be something besides taking care of Ding.”
“I don’t see why I should tell you. It’s also bothersome.”
“Then I’ll ask a different question. What’s Sidon’s relationship with Diswen?”
“Why is that woman’s name coming up here?”
Sidon glared at me with an intimidating look, a stark contrast to his previous dazed demeanor.
So, he’s sensitive about Diswen’s name.
I sat up, leaning back against the sofa.
“I’m just curious. Diswen doesn’t seem to care, but Sidon seems to be very conscious of her. Yet, you don’t seem to know why.”
“I don’t know. What can I do if I instinctively dislike her?”
“Is it really dislike?”
Sidon fell silent, clearly indicating he didn’t want to answer. But if I gave up here, I wouldn’t get any more information.
It’s just a guess, but…
Sidon, who follows Zerdan without a clear reason or condition, and Sidon, who seems to care about Diswen.
Yet Diswen seems not to care about Sidon at all. She seems uninterested.
I looked Sidon up and down and noticed a thin cord tied around his ankle.
An ankle bracelet?
At the end of it was a small black gemstone.
“Diswen has a younger brother who was killed by Zerdan. But she’s furious because she couldn’t even find the body and wants revenge on Zerdan.”
“Why are you bringing this up suddenly…”
“Sidon, when did you start working with Zerdan? Was it from a very young age? Or more recently?”
“What?”
“Do you have clear memories from your childhood?”
He frowned. It seemed like he was about to argue but suddenly was hit by a headache.
“Think carefully. Could it be that your memories of working with Zerdan only started after you were affected by Zerdan’s ability?”
“Zerdan’s ability controls corpses like puppets. Are you suggesting I’m dead?”
“Well, the people we’ve seen affected by Zerdan’s ability appeared emotionless. On the other hand, Sidon shows emotions and can express them. But it’s strange. You follow Zerdan without any special conditions, yet you can’t rem*mber when it started. So I wondered.”
I paused and looked at Sidon, who was still holding his head in pain.
I smiled. It seemed my deduction was correct.
“I was thinking that the brother Diswen mentioned might be you.”
“That’s impossible. I don’t rem*mber such a woman.”
“Maybe you lost your memory. It could be the result of using another ability.”
“Even if that were the case, why wouldn’t she recognize me? She shouldn’t forget her brother’s face.”
“I think I might know the reason.”
I slowly stood up and walked over to Sidon. When I grabbed his ankle, he flinched in surprise.
I saw the thin cord around Sidon’s ankle, which I had discovered earlier. Without hesitation, I pulled on it with force, and it broke easily.
I threw the small gemstone that had been attached to the cord to Terisier. He received it with confusion as I instructed him.
“Break it. It’s likely an object imbued with the ability of someone named Liffree. It probably has the power to prevent Diswen from recognizing Sidon’s appearance or accurately identifying faces.”
Terisier immediately transformed into a beastly form and crushed the gemstone under his large foot.
I added, addressing Sidon who was silently observing.
“Other people only knew that Diswen had a younger brother, but they didn’t know what he looked like. That’s why no one suspected anything. But maybe your instinct to pay attention to Diswen wasn’t just instinctive. Maybe it was because the person in question was a family m*mber.”
“That’s impossible. Zerdan didn’t say anything.”
“Perhaps it was to use you.”
Zerdan was certainly the type who could do that.
Sidon’s face looked troubled.
Of course, he wouldn’t easily believe my words, especially since we aren’t close or trustworthy. But the fact that his inexplicable interest in Diswen might make him doubt things was enough.
“Think about it carefully. When we meet next time, I hope you’ll come as an ally rather than a spy. … Diswen will be very pleased if she finds out that her brother is alive.”
I wondered what kind of expression Diswen would have when she found out that her supposedly dead brother was still alive.
Sidon remained silent. Until the moment Terisier and I left the house, he just stared out the window, lost in thought.
“Do you really think Sidon is Diswen’s brother?”
“There’s a possibility. We’ll only know the truth when Diswen meets Sidon directly. Whether Sidon will continue to stay with Zerdan or return to the embrace of a loved one is up to him. However…”
“However?”
“I’m concerned about Zerdan’s ability. I always understood it to be the power to control corpses. If both Diswen and Sidon were affected by this ability, it implies that they were controlled without becoming corpses. And Sidon had self-awareness.”
“Maybe the ability has become stronger.”
“Can an ability become stronger once it’s bestowed?”
Terisier nodded at my question. He added that it was a very rare occurrence, based on what he had heard in the past.
“It’s likely that a high understanding and proficiency with the ability are required. I haven’t seen it myself, but that’s what I’ve heard.”
“I see. It would be nice if my ability could be enhanced or supplemented similarly.”
“…Enhancing the ability to make all your body hair stand up probably won’t be very beneficial…”
Terisier’s honest comment made me glare at him. While I didn’t truly expect such an enhancement, hearing him speak so dismissively did bother me.
Terisier seemed to avoid eye contact as if he was aware of his mistake. When asked if I was going home now, I shook my head.
“There’s one more person I need to meet.”
“That’s fine, but why don’t you at least change your clothes before you go, because I’m sure you’ll need them.”
Now that I think about it, not only was my outfit inappropriate, but I wasn’t even wearing underwear.
For some reason, it seemed like I often ended up in my underwear in front of Terisier.
Seeing me say I wanted to buy clothes but didn’t have the money, Terisier sighed and soon started dragging me to a clothing store, saying he would buy them for me.
