- Chapter 1 - Criminal Zerdan (1) - Part 1 - Slight R-19
01. Criminal Zerdan (1)
This must be a dream, right? Or did I subconsciously connect to the game again?
Yeah, the latter must be true. I must have entered the game unconsciously because I felt so frustrated about not being able to start.
Nodding at my plausible deduction, I looked down at the puddle in the alley. My familiar face, which I’d seen so much of recently, was reflected in me.
My coworkers always said that if they played a romance fantasy, they’d choose long blonde hair and blue eyes. So, the moment I heard that, I vowed never to go with that combination.
I don’t want to do the same thing as everyone else. So I chose silver hair that slightly covers my neck and vivid green eyes.
At first, I liked this flashy combination because I thought it would catch the eyes of the target male characters, but of all people, the sub-male lead showed interest.
“Damn Zerdan…”
Since the game has already started, this time, I’ll escape from that room.
Until now, I’ve tried hiding a knife, acting cute, and threatening to report him, but all those attempts failed. The longest I lasted was pretending to be unconscious, but even that didn’t work in the end… What method should I try this time?
I pondered briefly and then remembered the corpse that had been in the room with me. Come to think of it, Zerdan is a psycho killer with an incomprehensible, perverted personality.
He kills women and then kisses them. I don’t know what kind of s*xual pl*asure he gets from it, but it’s the worst.
However, he only kisses them and does nothing else, so a self-proclaimed romance fantasy expert from my company once said:
‘The scenario writer must have made Zerdan a killer character who is shy about approaching women! That’s why readers find the gap cute and like him!’
…She had ranted about it like that.
I can’t agree, but considering he doesn’t sexually assault the kidnapped women and only kisses them after killing them, is he too shy to approach a woman’s body?
The more I set an answer and reasoned, the more it seemed plausible. I decided on my plan to escape this time.
The Project to Seduce Zerdan with My Body.
“All right, this time, I’ll seduce that bastard with my body.”
But just in case, I picked up the old awl on the floor. I don’t know why it’s there, but better to have it just in case. Then I closed my eyes. After experiencing this scene so many times, it’s automatic now.
Someone covered my mouth with a handkerchief, and I smelled something that made me pass out.
* * *
When I opened my eyes, I was back in the familiar room again. It felt more familiar than my actual room. The scene inside the room was the same. There was an old bed and no windows. And there was a chair opposite me, but… no corpse?
Why isn’t it there? Did I wake up at a different time?
I can’t tell if I woke up earlier or later than usual. If I woke up later, it meant the woman was already taken. If I woke up earlier, Zerdan and the woman would be here soon.
I tried to figure it out, but hearing the sound of the password being entered, I quickly closed my eyes. I heard voices.
“Zerdan, I can’t believe she knew your name. That’s impossible. Only a few in our organization know your real name.”
“But I heard it. That woman muttered my name. It bothered me, so I brought her.”
“Strange. Where could the information have leaked from?”
There were two voices. An adult male and the familiar voice of Zerdan. Why did two people come in? This had never happened before. Plus, it seems Zerdan heard me muttering his name in the alley without thinking.
He kidnapped me because of that… Stupid me.
“There could be a spy or maybe she’s an agent sent by Bella. We need to investigate.”
“Damn, more work. Fine, don’t kill her yet. If she’s either one, we need to torture her to get information.”
Torture?! Did he just casually mention torture?
The man with Zerdan said he would go ahead and left the room. The door closed, and the room became quiet again.
Only one set of footsteps means Zerdan is still in the room. Why isn’t he moving? Does he already know I’m awake and is planning to kill me?
“I know you’re awake, miss.”
“Oh, sh*t…”
I knew it!
Hearing Zerdan’s amused voice, I stopped pretending to be unconscious and muttered a curse under my breath.
Why is he so sharp? Or am I just bad at acting? I sighed and lifted my head. I saw Zerdan standing in front of me.
Since he wasn’t out on official business, he was dressed casually in a white shirt and black pants. With his black hair and golden eyes, he looked insanely handsome as he smiled at me.
Wow, he could make a living off that face alone!
As I blushed slightly, Zerdan, seeming familiar with this, smiled warmly and bent down to meet my gaze. Whether viewed from below or straight on, Zerdan was beautiful.
“You must have heard our conversation, right? I’m curious how you knew my name. Did Bella send you to kill me?”
Zerdan opened his palm to show me something. It was the old awl I picked up from the ground.
Why are you so adorably holding that?
“You must have great skills. Trying to take me on with just this.”
Skills? What skills?
I wanted to shout that the only skill I had was dying to him in the shortest possible time in the game’s introduction, but I looked at him as calmly as possible and spoke.
“I don’t know who Bella is. Even if you’re curious about how I know your name, I can’t tell you. You’re going to kill me anyway, aren’t you?”
“Hmm… If there’s a spy, I’ll keep you alive until you tell me, miss.”
His voice was so kind as if he was showing mercy, that I made a sour face.
Just kill me quickly. At least then I can forcibly log out!
“Or are you trying to seduce me with this? I’m curious about how you’d use it. How will you use your body to seduce me?”
Oh my god. He must have heard me talking nonsense about seducing him in the alley.
I kept my mouth shut out of embarrassment, my face turning red, and Zerdan laughed.
He slowly reached out with the old awl in his hand. The tip was dull, so it wasn’t dangerous, but I flinched at his action.
A man who could kill me easily with just this awl. That was Zerdan in front of me.
But contrary to my expectations, the awl didn’t hurt me. It lightly poked at my chest.
I flinched, but he casually drew a large circle with the awl, as if marking a spot. I could feel the sensation clearly through my thin clothing.
The awl moved around the edge of my chest and slowly started to approach the center. The sensation was so clear that I instinctively curled my toes.
The awl pressed directly on the part where my n*pple was. Zerdan pretended not to know and persistently rubbed the area.
“I usually prefer women with a bit more experience, but someone like you isn’t bad either. The nape of your neck is more to my taste than I thought.”
Zerdan slowly lowered his head and caressed the back of my neck. His large hand rubbed my nape slowly.
I couldn’t tell if I was trembling out of fear that his hand might strangle me at any moment or because my body was sensitive to the awl stimulating my n*pple.
“How did you think you could seduce me with that innocent look? Did I seem as naive as you?”
No. My senior at work swore you’d be a character with a cute gap!
But Zerdan in front of me wasn’t blushing at all; he was just smiling with interest, his eyes twinkling.
He looked so annoying. So I stretched out my leg. For some reason, my arms were tied to the chair, but my legs weren’t.
I didn’t know if it was because they hadn’t been tied yet or for some other reason, but thanks to that, my free leg could reach Zerdan, who was crouching down.
With my shoe still on, I pressed firmly on the center of his pants, mimicking the way he was stimulating my n*pple with the awl.
“If you think I’m innocent, that’s fortunate. I thought you might like this. If you want me to be more aggressive, I’m happy to oblige.”
My unexpected words made Zerdan laugh.
However, he didn’t remove my foot. Instead, he pressed my foot harder against himself. Even through my shoe, I could feel him getting harder.
Thankfully, even a psycho adheres to his instincts.
Zerdan seemed surprised by my composed and confident demeanor.
