The Softest And Cutest Of The Dukes - Chapter 10
CHAPTER 10
Vance is sullen, having had his meager chest attacked since morning.
“Lady, the Duke’s chest isn’t normal, and no matter how big they are, they’re not going to give you a squeeze.”
“I don’t need a squeeze.”
Vance, who bragged about having a firm chest as a knight himself, started to undress to show me, but Oscar hastily stopped him.
“Vance Christopher, what a disgrace in front of a child, tsk tsk.”
Duke Panteur clicked his tongue while I’m still rubbing my face against his chest, and gave me an odd smile.
“You certainly have an eye for who you like.”
“Ehehe.”
I smiled once for Duke Panteur and then looked away, knowing that I couldn’t walk around with no clothes on. As soon as I was out of his grasp, Elena took me to one side, untied my towel, and put on a panty diaper.
“Don’t worry, this is the newest diaper, and it doesn’t move, so it won’t leak when you’re wet.”
I squirmed in frustration at the new panty diaper. Regardless, Elena dressed me in the new underwear and clothes she had brought.
“My dear Seraphina, have you been diapered?”
Vance gave me a puzzled look as I waddled backward on my soggy butt. Then he came to me, grabbed my hand, and gently scooped me up. I snuggled up against his chest, but I quickly pulled away.
“Awww, it’s not big.”
“Miss Seraphina, a man shouldn’t be judged by his chest, but by what’s inside, not what’s on the outside, and for your information, I’m a warm city boy who loves babies.”
Vance’s feet turned outward as he made his charms known to me, and Jenny, who had been waiting outside the room, grinned and reached out, but he didn’t move me.
“I’ll carry you.”
Vance smirked, grabbing my flabby cheeks the whole way, and turning to Jenny.
“Why is it so soft? It seems like there’s less fat in this part.”
“Well, I do pay attention to Miss Seraphina’s meals.”
As Vance continued to rub his face against mine, I squirmed and pushed him away with my tiny hand, but the unsuspecting Vance pressed his face closer, thinking I was touching him.
“Lady, I’m going to get married soon and have a son, so would you like to marry him? I hear younger men are all the rage these days.”
That was a little tacky.
But I was a sassy, sassy girl. I shook my head.
“I don’t know about now, but if it was my son, he’d be very cool and handsome.”
You can’t say that without getting married first.
I couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of Vance, who wasn’t even married, already carrying his offspring. But I still couldn’t control my facial muscles, so I drooled.
“As expected, my dear, just wait a little longer, and I will soon give birth to our Lady Seraphina’s husband.”
“No, I don’t want!”
Once again, I said something that made Vance’s chest heave, but he only smirked at what was so good about it.
“Miss, a man’s strength lies in his waist!”
Jenny burst into laughter upon seeing Vance confidently claim that his waist was strong.
“Mister, do you want to have a waist competition?”
“Oh, no, it’s not necessary. My waist is incredibly strong. Although I haven’t been married, all the young ladies who have been with me were satisfied…”
“I apologize. Mr. Vance, it might be inappropriate for the young lady to hear such words due to content regulations… Ahem!”
Jenny boldly interrupted Vance and glared at him to stop talking nonsense, and his head bobbed up and down.
“I’ll raise him to be a man with a chest as big as mine. Hoo-hoo, by the way, how long are you going to call me mister? The Duke is a much older man than me, and you call him brother.”
He didn’t like being called mister when he was less than a year older than Duke Panteur, so Vance pinched me lightly on the cheek.
“I am Vance. Now, young lady, repeat after me. Vance!”
“Bentz?”
“No, it’s Vance. Van-ce!”
“Bens!”
I’m sorry, my tongue isn’t quite there yet.
I realized I needed to work on my pronunciation.
“Just call me Van.”
“Van!”
“That’s right, you’ve done well. From now on, call me Van. Here, here’s a present for a job well done.”
Vance fumbled in his pocket and held out something. I looked at the clear, sweet-smelling beads and grinned.
“Candy.”
“Yes, it’s candy, and it’s a gift for calling my name.”
Saliva dripping uncontrollably, I quickly reached out to grab the candy. But before I could, Jenny snatched the candy from Vance’s hand and shook her head.
“No, no, no. You’re not ready to eat yet. You’re supposed to eat this after your meal.”
“Hmm, but I want it… Can’t I have it now?”
As I desperately pleaded to let me have it, Jenny’s hand trembled when our eyes met.
“Jenny, can’t we make an exception and let her have it now, but ensure she has it after meals in the future?”
“But they say children don’t eat their meals well if they have candy before.”
“No, it’s okay. I’ll drink my milk after having it.”
I have a sweet tooth.
Bring me some candy.
I stare at Jenny’s hand, stick my finger in my mouth, and suck on the side. Then she reluctantly popped the candy into my mouth.
“Van, thank you.”
“I’ll bring you candy next time.”
I shook my head, realizing that Vance had whispered in my ear behind Jenny’s back. I munched on the candy and returned to my room.
He gently set me down on the bed, still cupping my cheek. When he didn’t come off like he was glued, Jenny said something.
“Why don’t you get out of here, you’re a busy man, you shouldn’t be here forever.”
“Who’s to say I can’t see the future Mrs. Vance?”
“If you keep fiddling with her like that, you might get in trouble with the lord later. My lady has quite delicate skin.”
At Jenny’s words, Vance reluctantly removed his hand from my cheek and waved at me.
“I’ll come back to see you later.”
Yeah. Bye. Don’t come back. Don’t bother.
I waved, and Vance spun around to look at me and smirked. I waved back, and he stepped on the doorstep and slammed it shut. Once he was out of sight, I sucked on the candy, quietly lost in thought.
About what I should do with my life here.
Should I learn magic and make a living in this world, or try to figure out how to get back to the world I came from?
“Ah, what do you think?”
I paused, wondering if my brain had grown too young or if I just refused to think hard. The bottom line was that I couldn’t easily return to the Benedict Empire, whether my brother was alive or dead.
I was supposed to have died there, but this necklace had allowed me to live apart from the world as a child.
“What to do, what to do.”
Again, no conclusion. I buried my face in the mattress so Jenny wouldn’t see my expression. For now, I could live here and not be evicted. But we never know when things might go wrong.
So I had to hunker down and collect mana and money as best I could. I hadn’t felt any mana when I woke up here, but now I had a glimmer of hope.
A moment ago, I strained my body to feel mana, and I felt a familiar energy. I grunted, thinking about pushing a little harder.
Sprinkle-.
What is this familiar sound?
When Jenny saw me frozen in shock, she smirked.
“Uh-oh, my dear, you responded.”
Damn, it felt like all the strength in the world had gone to my lower body. I cringed at the unexpected response. This damn kid’s body didn’t seem to have any patience.
“Hmph, hmph.”
“Don’t cry. Miss, it’s natural for a child to be impatient, and you were just giving me a signal to respond by fidgeting with the sound earlier.”
“No, no.”
“It’s all right, young lady, and don’t ever be shy.”
After picking me up, Jenny grabbed a new diaper and headed straight for the bathroom, where she washed me and dressed me in a fluffy new diaper.
I buried my face in Jenny’s chest in embarrassment at the rawness of my response.
If I can talk this much and move this much on my own, I should be old enough to get out of diapers, but why am I more regressed than most kids? I feel like I’m having an accident because my body hasn’t adjusted to being an adult and then a child again.
“My lady, your intestines must be very strong.”
I don’t need words to tell me that.
I crawled back under the covers, and Jenny opened the door to ventilate. After a while, the meal came. A large fish fillet was placed in front of me, grilled and flavorful, and tender.
“You’re supposed to eat a lot of it since you’ve been fighting.”
Feeling hollow from an unexpected bowel movement, I dug into the fish with my fork. When it didn’t stick, Jenny deboned it for me.
“Can I eat this?”
“Miss, you don’t have to ask that anymore, so eat to your heart’s content, and when you’re done with this and want more, just ask. I’ll be here all night.”
Om nom nom…
After eating fish, soup, and a salad for the baby, Agape brought a delicious cake.
“Wow, cake! Cake!”
As I smiled brightly upon seeing the strawberry cake generously coated with whipped cream, Agape grinned and said,
“My dear, have you been waiting for me?”
“Yes, I’ve been waiting.”
“My pretty girl, I’m going to feed you a strawberry cake today.”
Pushing past Jenny, Agape sat down next to me and picked up a fork with a small slice of cake. I closed my eyes and bit into the fork, my whole body shivering at the taste of the melting cream and sweet and sour strawberries in my mouth.
“Is it delicious?”
“Yes, it’s delicious.”
As I ate the strawberry cake, I was able to put my worries aside for a moment. Mesmerized by the soft, sweet strawberry cake, I grabbed Agape’s hand as she slowed her fork and quickly shoved it into my mouth.
“My, my, you’re surprisingly strong.”
It was the strength I’d gained from holding onto the Duke Panteur’s clothes so I wouldn’t fall out and die.
“I saw before I got here, Mr. Vance was practicing his swordsmanship all of a sudden, did something happen earlier?”
Agape, who was feeding me cake, asked as she looked at Jenny, who smirked.
“It’s just that the young lady rejected Mr. Vance because he doesn’t have a bigger chest than the Duke.”
“Really? He’s telling that even if the Duke asks him to practice swordsmanship, he doesn’t have to because he’s a genius, and now he ends up doing it after being rejected by the young lady. Pooh!”
Having learned the reason behind Vance’s swordsmanship practice, Agape wiped the area around my mouth clean after I finished the cake and said,
“Indeed, our young lady is knowledgeable from the very beginning… After all, men should have well-developed chest. Right?”
