The Queen of Villains - Chapter 11 part 2
~Thank you for the Ko-fi Luna~
“Emily, I have a favor to ask of you before the vacation is over.”
One sunny day, Johann and Emily were leisurely spending time in the garden after a meal together.
“What is it ?”
“It’s nothing special.”
Johann pulled out a piece of paper.
“A Confirmation form of attendance at sports day?”
“Yes, it is an event held before the start of the semester for new students and current students to get closer. You don’t have to attend, but there’s something I want to do with Emily.”
“Don’t worry and feel free to tell me.”
With Emily’s affectionate tone, Johann gathered his courage and spoke.
“It’s a three-legged race with your mom. I’ve never participated because my mother isn’t here…”
Johann knew exactly how to stimulate Emily’s emotions.
As Johann blinked his big eyes and looked up at her, she felt her heart swell once again.
She herself had lost her parents at a very young age, and as such she had gone through many difficult times as an adult. This child had lost his parents at such a tender age. She couldn’t help but want to fulfill most of his requests.
“Why is that difficult? Of course, I can run with you.”
“Really? Thank you!”
Johann jumped into Emily’s arms as if he were leaping.
“Shall we start practicing from tomorrow?”
“Sounds good!”
Killian and Giovanni couldn’t help but feel perplexed when they later heard the news.
In years past Cézanne and Roxy had urged him to attend the sports festival, offering to be stand-ins for his parents.‘
“Why attend such a childish game? Don’t involve me in children’s games. I’m so dumbfounded they even host such an event … .”
The person who said such things was none other than Johann.
“It seems like the kid’s acting skills are evolving as time goes by,” Giovanni remarked, and Killian nodded in agreement.
“When does the vacation end, anyway?”
“It’s almost over, so hang in there a little longer.”
Even though Giovanni didn’t mark his own birthday on the calendar, he made sure to mark Johann’s school opening ceremony with a red star, so it seemed like that was all he had to say.
Even Alvin, who had been quite competent in his butler duties, had become pitifully thin during this time.
“Make sure to prepare thoroughly for the return to school.”
Giovanni responded with a determined expression to Killian’s admonishment.
“Don’t worry, there won’t be any mistakes.”
Johann’s books had already been sent to the school in advance.

On the day they decided to exercise, Emily and Johann met in the spacious courtyard of the mansion.
“Emily, you look really good in sportswear.
With her high ponytail, Emily’s beautiful facial contours stood out, and her tunic-style shirt and riding pants highlighted her tall and slender figure.
Personally, Johann thought that this attire made Emily look more vibrant and beautiful than when she wore dresses.
“Thanks, you look cute too.”
Emily lightly grabbed and pinched Johann’s cheek as if she found him adorable.
With his fringe tied up, Johann resembled a cute and handsome apple. It was a hairstyle that young boys often did to avoid getting hurt during exercise, which Johann initially disliked. But if Emily thought it was adorable and pretty, Johann was willing to endure anything to appear cute in her eyes.
“Really?”
Johann chuckled while playing with his apple-like hair.
“Yes, really. How can you be this adorable?”
Yes, Johann was willing to tolerate such a hairstyle if it made him look cute in Emily’s eyes, although his cheeks still trembled at the thought of Cézanne, who styled his hair, bursting into laughter.
“Shall we start with warm-up exercises then?”
Emily had been diligently exercising to maintain her position as the social queen.
While physical fitness was one of the reasons, improving stamina was the main goal. Stamina was crucial to handle various parties and gatherings. Many newcomers to society didn’t realize this and often ended up exhausted“
“What kind of exercises have you been doing?”
“I’ve been stretching, running, and I’ve also learned swimming…”
Fortunately, Emily had exceptional athletic ability and agility.
“Especially in running, I always came in first, so don’t worry.”
“Wow, that’s impressive.”
However what she, who seemed to be able to do everything so well, lacked was a sense of teamwork.
