Returning to Infancy with my Nemesis - Chapter 32
Everyone present, except for Tang Mian, was left stunned by Fu Shizhao’s unexpected revelation. Tang Mian knew exactly what Fu Shizhao meant when he said, “I do.” He just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible and avoid hearing any more details.
As expected, Shen Siwan asked in confusion, “What does Zhao Zhao have?”
“A boyfriend,” Fu Shizhao obediently replied, holding onto Tang Mian’s arm. His eyes sparkled as if he were showing off his possession.
Shen Sizhan’s gaze naturally fell on his youngest son, and the amused smile in her eyes deepened. She asked again, “Is Zhao Zhao’s boyfriend Mian Mian?”
Fu Shizhao nodded, briefly explaining what had happened at the kindergarten that afternoon. He emphasized, “Big brother promised to be my boyfriend.”
Hearing the innocent words of a three-year-old, everyone couldn’t help but smile. Even Tang Sheng couldn’t hold back a chuckle.
Tang Mian, attracted by the laughter, glanced at his older brother, who was watching the scene. Remembering his original purpose, Tang Mian decided to act a bit stubborn. “Sister, I’ll give you my brother to be your boyfriend, so you’ll have a boyfriend too.”
Tang Sheng’s smile froze for a moment, and his ears turned red. He wondered what this little guy was saying.
Jiang Tian unconsciously glanced at Tang Sheng, her cheeks turning a faint shade of pink. She quickly averted her gaze, then gently rubbed Tang Mian’s head. “Don’t worry, sister isn’t in a hurry. Sister will wait until she’s grown up to find a boyfriend.”
Tang Mian understood that he shouldn’t push it too far, so he nodded obediently. “Okay.”
Until they said goodbye to their classmates and got into the car, Shen Siwan’s gaze remained fixated on Tang Sheng’s slightly reddened ears. Once the car started moving, she couldn’t help but ask with a gossip-filled tone, “Was the girl named Jiang Tian just now in your class?”
Although Tang Sheng didn’t want to discuss anything related to Jiang Tian anymore, he still honestly answered his mother’s question. “No, she’s from the class next to mine.”
“Oh…” Shen Siwan elongated her tone and stared at her older son’s increasingly red ears. She didn’t ask any further questions but instead shifted her gaze to the two well-behaved kids sitting beside her.
Their safety loops were still attached to their wrists, and their starch sausages had been eaten completely. The little bibs and their clothes were clean, with no food residue on them.
Both of their kids were so easy to take care of. Shen Sizhan thought about Fu Shizhao’s mention of a “little boyfriend” and, unable to resist, opened her phone to send a message to her husband, sharing everything that had happened.
They were not old-fashioned parents; it’s perfectly normal for adolescents to develop some affectionate feelings. What they needed to do was guide them correctly.
As for the little role-playing games between the two three- to four-year-old kids, it was best just to enjoy the fun without worrying too much about it.
That evening, during a moment when Tang Mian was taking a bath, Fu Shizhao secretly opened his small diary. The diary had a password lock, and there was also a pen attached to it.
Fu Shizhao had bought this diary during the time when Tang Mian was studying abroad with his foster father. The purpose was to record some important things, and having a lock would make it much safer, especially since he didn’t have a phone at his age.
In his previous life, he had the habit of keeping a diary, but after being found by the Fu family, he was forced to give up this habit out of fear that those people would secretly read his things. Later, when he finally had no more worries, he found that there was nothing left worth recording.
The first page of the diary was already filled with content.
Fu Shizhao discreetly took out a handful of soft hair from his pocket, put it in a small bag, and then attached it to the paper in the diary using transparent tape. He quickly started writing on it with a pen.
?Today, my young master seemed jealous, probably because he misunderstood me calling Mu Zichen my Big brother, but he still cares about me.?
?Today, my young Master agreed to be my boyfriend, even though it was just a pretend game, but I’m still very happy.?
?Today, we went to get haircuts together. My Young Master almost wanted to get a buzz cut, but thankfully, Auntie stopped him. I still really like the long hair he had in his previous life. I wonder if I’ll have a chance to see it again in this life.?
?I saw my sister-in-law today. I hope I can attend her and Brother Sheng’s wedding in this lifetime.?
The handwriting had a firm penmanship that was unusual for a child of his age. At first glance, it seemed quite strange coming from such a young child. After finishing today’s diary entry, Fu Shizhao tucked the diary away in a corner of his room. It was well-hidden, just enough space for a diary to fit, and no one would discover it. Not long after, Tang Mian returned to the room.
His knee wound should have healed quite well, at least over the past half-day since his return, there hadn’t been any obstacles to his movements.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t personally take revenge on the person who hurt him now. If he were the one with real power in the Fu family like he was in his previous life, he would make those two families pay dearly.
Thinking about this, Fu Shizhao began to consider the timing of returning to the Fu family in this life. He wanted to go back earlier, leveraging the advantage of information from his past life to settle everything ahead of time.
He enjoyed the feeling of having everything under control and didn’t like the constant uncertainty hanging over his chest, waiting for the moment it would drop.
But… when would be the best time to return?
Tang Mian had been pondering about this same question during his days abroad due to his injury, and he hadn’t come up with the best answer yet.
However, there was no rush for now. He still had a few more years in kindergarten, and at such a young age, even if he returned to the Fu family, there wasn’t much he could do. He might as well stay by Little Master’s side and make up for the regrets from his previous life.
Sitting on the bed, Tang Mian didn’t immediately climb under the covers to sleep. Instead, he used the wrist-worn phone watch to make a call to his “sister-in-law.”
Earlier in the evening, he had promised to call her when he got back. The little assistant was doing his job diligently.
The call was quickly answered on the other end. “Sister, what are you doing? Have you finished your homework?” Tang Mian asked.
At this hour, it was bedtime for kids in kindergarten, but for junior high school students, it meant burning the midnight oil and continuing to work on assignments.
When he had passed by his brother’s room earlier, he had coincidentally encountered her coming out of the room, and they exchanged a greeting.
“Sister has finished her homework. I’m studying now,” Jiang Tian replied.
Tang Mian nonchalantly propped his little feet onto Fu Shizhao’s lap as he continued talking. “Sister is so amazing. My brother hasn’t finished his homework yet… Sister must have excellent grades. You should help my brother more. Tomorrow, I’ll ask him to bring you some candy.”
Their conversation brought them closer.
Naturally, Jiang Tian couldn’t bear to refuse such a cute little child and reluctantly agreed. Tang Sheng had good grades; he didn’t need her help.
After chatting for a while, they hung up. Tang Mian put the phone watch back on his wrist, and wearing a satisfied smile, he went to his brother’s room.
Tang Sheng opened the door with some excitement, his gaze immediately falling on the little radish head in pajamas. He almost immediately squatted down to meet Tang Mian’s eye level.
Tang Mian lowered his head and pulled a few candies out of his own pocket.
Tang Sheng was quite excited. Tang Mian had finally forgiven him and brought him precious candies.
However, in the next moment, Tang Mian said, “Brother, please give these candies to Sister Tian Tian tomorrow.”
Tang Sheng: “…….”
Back in the children’s room, Tang Mian crawled into the warm blanket that Fu Shizhao had prepared and placed one of his little feet onto Fu Shizhao’s leg.
Fu Shizhao’s body was warm, like a small heater.
In his previous life, when it was cold in winter, he always liked to have Fu Shizhao help him warm his feet.
Tang Mian was never an obedient sleeper, and Fu Shizhao had long grown used to it. Now, lying next to Tang Mian, if Tang Mian didn’t place a hand or foot on him, he would feel somewhat uncomfortable and even suspected that he had done something to upset Tang Mian.
Just as Tang Mian was about to remove his hearing aid, the little companion lying beside him suddenly spoke, “Brother, can you sing a song to help me sleep? Today is the first day you became my boyfriend, you know.”
