Precautions of a Snakepit - Chapter 61 (R-19ish)
‘Could a human be called a human when all that remained was instinct?’
Won stiffened as the question passed through her mind. Top Dog looked more like an animal than anything else.
The way a tiger stares at its prey. It was like that. A feeling of minimal intelligence working in its favor.
How to eat it.
How to subdue it if it rebelled.
How to cook it once it’s caught.
She could see that his mind was filled with similar thoughts, and he was quite… intimidating. Her brain, sensing danger, went on high alert, warning her of the formidable opponent.
‘Of course, he isn’t going to be easy.’
The difference between them was the thickness of their forearms. A physical difference that went beyond overwhelming to brutal. Brute strength would never win by itself though, since he needs skills or tools to subdue her.
Dryly swallowing, Won didn’t avoid Top Dog’s gaze.
The beast in front of her wasn’t sane. The moment she loses the battle of momentum, he will pounce.
Won narrowed her jet-black eyes and watched him. He didn’t have a trace of reason; it was a strange look of one both annoyance and intrigue. Won stared into his eyes under pressure.
This is what she got for turning around.
She always thought he looked like a beast, but at least he was human. The aura emanating from him was different.
‘What should I do? How do I wake him up?’
For one thing, Top Dog was hypnotized. She was almost under it, too, but she broke out halfway.
The medium was probably the video of snakes copulating and the ambient music. Maybe that’s why they urged her to focus. When she was distracted before that, the hypnosis was shallow.
In fact, hypnosis is a common phenomenon in everyday life. It’s just not recognized as such.
The placebo effect is self-hypnosis, and voice phishing is a crime that exploits the principles of hypnosis. Many of the theories in the field of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), known for techniques like rapport building and mirroring, also come from the hypnotist Milton Erikson. Hypnosis is a technique based on psychology and neuroscience, rather than some superpower.
There is actually an investigative technique called forensic hypnosis. It’s a recognized method in the United States, the United Kingdom, and elsewhere, and was officially introduced in Korea in 1999 by the National Institute of Forensic Science and Investigation, and is still in use today. In some cases, this technique has played a crucial role in catching serial killers.
However, hypnosis is not a one-size-fits-all.
While the popular media portrays hypnotists as being able to make people do anything under their control, the reality is that they can’t make people do anything they don’t want to do. For example, you can’t make them do anything that goes against their self-protection instincts. This means that even under hypnosis, you can’t make someone jump out of a window. You can, however, get them to recognize the window as a door and then command them to go out.
In any case, being hypnotized doesn’t make you a mindless, willless slave. If you give a command against the subject’s will, the subject will feel uncomfortable and come out of hypnosis. This was found in Project MK-ULTRA, a secret bio-experiment confused by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) during the Cold War to fight communists. The CIA tried to manipulate humans with drugs, including LSD but ultimately failed to achieve the desired results.
Hypnosis cannot be used to completely control a person. A hypnotized person’s brain waves are in a state of REM sleep, but they are clearly conscious and can express themselves. So Top Dog is probably conscious at this point.
Top Dog reached out a large hand and cupped her cheek. The casual contact jolted her into alertness.
“Don’t.”
“Why? I want to,” he asked, sounding unconvinced.
The suggestion to do as he wished had merged with his desire, strengthening the hypnosis.
He touched her cheek with his thumb and tilted her head. Won’s heartbeat quickened as his face grew closer. She couldn’t tell what he was about to do.
“Stop.”
“I don’t want to.”
Smiling like he was on a high, Top Dog closed the distance.
Finally, their lips touched.
“Mmph…”
Won stifled a moan as he nibbled on her bottom lip. It wasn’t a kiss at all. It was different altogether from human acts of affection. It was a wild, crude animal gesture; a raw, unfiltered rush of desire.
He bit to know the texture, licked to know the touch, and sucked to know the flavor… even how she reacted to him. Won could clearly feel his intention to explore everything until he was satisfied. He didn’t even bother to hide it.
She wondered if this was what it was like to mix tongues with a predator like a tiger, lion, or wolf, where they know they are throwing a lot at you, but you can’t understand the signals. It’s like being courted by a different species.
The heat he’s giving off is making her head spin. She couldn’t understand, but she knew it was hot, and her brain was hazy as her body burned. She felt tingles down her spine and chills down her back as he swirled around in her mouth and intertwined his tongue with hers.
“Hmph, ah….”
Won realized that the bossy bastard had been teasing her for some time now, gauging her reactions. He was noticing when she flinched or made a sound of pain, and continued to tease her. It was like he liked what she liked and only wanted to make her feel good.
His teasing tongue had poked around long enough that she noticeably softened. Won’s guard relaxed, feeling as though she had been reduced to a docile animal, if not a human being, then at least a docile animal that listened. The sensations she hadn’t been able to fully embrace because of the walls she erected around herself came vividly rushing in.
Top Dog had now perfectly learned what she liked. She watched him through slitted eyes as he skillfully executed what was almost a human kiss. She rewarded him for being good with his body, which was a frightening mastery of all things considered.
Won felt her inner thighs tighten as he whipped her around. It throbbed beneath her and fl*id leaked out, soaking her underwear.
Her legs gave way and she faltered, but his arms wrapped around her waist. It didn’t completely stop her from falling, but their bodies were pressed closer together.
After greedily sucking her saliva, he pulled his lips away and asked, “Why don’t you close your eyes? I mean, it’s nice that you don’t, but you’re looking at me all the time. It’s weird.”
Won wiped the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand and glared.
“What do you think you’re doing, closing your eyes? What are you going to do to me?”
“You think I’m going to hurt you?”
“You don’t?”
Top Dog tilted his head as he thought about her retort.
“Well… I might. I am big.”
Won, who had nervously waited for his answer, was taken aback by his response.
“What…”
“I mean, wouldn’t it be okay if you just let loose? I’m also tempted to plunge in all at once, though.”
‘Is he insane?’
Dumbfounded, Won snapped out of the trance. Before she realized it, her back was against a desk and she was looking up at him.
“I’ll be good to you, my pretty girl.”
Won looked up at him because he sounded like a cheap wh*re. Her head was spinning.
‘Is he really going to do this? Really? Under hypnosis like this…’
“Stop it while I’m being nice. I never agreed to this.”
“It’ll get better as we go. Just like before, right?”
He slipped his hand between her legs, grazing over her clothes. He felt the d*mpness of her underwear and his smile deepened.
“That’s right,” he whispered.
He brought the finger that passed by her secret place and pressed it to his nose, sniffing like an animal.
“It smells sweet.”
Won’s complexion flushed.
“You…!”
“I want it. Let’s do it.”
Before she could tell him to stop, he grabbed her clothes. She tried to stop him by grabbing his wrists to keep him from pulling it off, but it was futile; there was an obvious difference in strength.
As she struggled to keep her top from being taken off, Won wondered what she could do to stop him.
‘What can I say to stop this hypnotized bastard?’
He was in a “do what you want” type of trance. She needs to find something he doesn’t want and bring it to the situation.
‘What is it?’
She doesn’t know him. She’s not even sure if he is an ally or an enemy.
Her top is up to the base of her neck. When Won sees her bra-encased br*asts bouncing and jiggling, she becomes desperate.
“Stop! If you do anymore, I’ll never forgive you.”
His hand stopped dead in its tracks.
“You won’t forgive me? Does that mean you’ll hate me?”
“I’ll hate you forever.”
Won didn’t think it would be much of a deterrent. She didn’t think it mattered if she hated him forever or not. As long as she served his purpose, then so be it.
This was just her way of trying to declare war.
“You can’t do that.”
At the sound of his voice, Won opened her eyes again.
He stammered, confused, “I don’t want to be hated.”
