- Chapter 2 - The Six Sensei Thieves! The Saintly Bandits
As Yang Ming anxiously watched, the pointer on the roulette slowly stopped in the section labeled “Six Sensei Thieves.”
?Six Sensei Thieves or Liuku Immortal Thieves?: The ultimate body forging technique, which involves training the large intestine, small intestine, stomach, triple burner, gallbladder, and bladder. This results in an invincible constitution, allowing perfect absorption of food energy and gradual enhancement of physical qualities. Once mastered, it can even rapidly recover from bodily injuries.
The Six Sensei Thieves, also known as the Saintly Bandits.
Saints never die, great thieves never cease.
From its inception, the Six Sensei Thieves aimed to seize the vitality of heaven and earth for themselves!
After the lottery ended, a wealth of information about the Six Sensei Thieves flooded into Yang Ming’s mind.
Yang Ming felt as if he were born knowing it all, his body naturally operating the techniques of the Six Sensei Thieves. As his abdomen expanded and contracted with each breath. He felt the impurities being expelled and the pure Qi being drawn in, giving him a refreshing sensation.
However, just one cycle made Yang Ming feel even hungrier.
Those who practiced the Six Sensei Thieves were true big eaters.
Yang Ming quickly returned to the campfire, took the spring knife passed by Sabo, and didn’t care that the fish was only half-cooked. He immediately scraped off a piece of meat and swallowed it.
“Hot, hot!”
As the still-warm fish meat entered his mouth, apart from the scalding sensation. There was the delicious taste of the tender fish.
With each mouthful of fish, his throat swallowed it down. His entire digestive system began to work, extracting the essence from the fish. And strands of Qi flowed through his limbs and meridians.
Yang Ming felt a warm current rise from his abdomen, invigorating his whole being.
Ace and Sabo managed to catch two salmon, each weighing over ten kilograms. They impaled the fish on the campfire using more than a dozen wooden forks.
As Yang Ming devoured his portion, the sight of his meal immediately whetted the appetites of the other three. They eagerly joined in the feast, competing for the remaining fish without any concern for anything else.
In Yang Ming’s previous life, a ten-kilogram salmon could feed an adult for several days.
But obviously, the people in the world of One Piece had much stronger constitutions than those in his previous life, not to mention Luffy, Ace, and Sabo, who were extraordinary individuals. They could probably swallow a whole cow without any problems.
The four of them devoured the two mahi-mahi like a whirlwind, leaving behind the bones to burn in the campfire.
The four sat in different positions, lying on the sandy ground, their bellies visibly bloated like small mounds. Each of them had a fishbone held in their mouths to pick their teeth, looking incredibly content.
The friendship between men is sometimes so simple.
Having carried guns together, climbed over walls together, and dated girlfriends together.
Luffy, Ace, and Sabo were still young, and even though Ace and Sabo were a bit more mature than the average kids, in this aspect, they were exceptionally straightforward. As long as they had a drink and a good meal together, they considered each other good friends.
Unconsciously, Yang Ming had integrated into this small group in this way.
Of course, at this moment, Yang Ming didn’t realize this; he was fully focused on feeling the changes in his body.
After consuming a large amount of food, not only did it alleviate Yang Ming’s hunger crisis, but the nourishing Qi inside him also began repairing the organs damaged from years of malnutrition.
Long-term malnutrition first affected the intestines, followed by the internal organs, and finally caused damage to the blood, flesh, and bones.
The nourishing Qi’s subtle touch was like a gentle massage for these damaged areas, and Yang Ming felt a tingling sensation spreading.
Moreover, the toxins that had accumulated in his body from accidentally ingesting food during his garbage-picking activities were also successfully expelled.
During this process, Yang Ming visited the restroom twice, and behind a hidden rocky outcrop nearby, he handled his urgent needs.
He even noticed that after he dug a pit, a crab came to investigate, but it immediately foamed at the mouth and fainted after coming into contact with the food scraps he buried there.
It’s easy to imagine that if these toxins had accumulated inside him, Yang Ming might not have survived for more than seven days.
Once the toxins were cleared, Yang Ming felt a lightness in his body, as if he had lifted a heavy burden.
Under the blue sky and white clouds, with the refreshing sea breeze blowing, Yang Ming felt exceptionally good.
“I understand the plot’s development, and I have the system. If I develop well, there will surely be a place for me in the New World!”
Looking at the boundless blue sea, a fiery determination blazed within Yang Ming.
“Who doesn’t have dreams in their youth?”
“Who doesn’t wish for freedom?”
However, in the face of the harsh realities and constraints, for the sake of education, future prospects, and family, many times one can only temporarily set aside those distant dreams that seem unattainable and choose to bow to reality, striving for a stable civil service job.
Of course, before that, Yang Ming needed to think carefully about what lines to use.
As a diligent high school senior, he spent his time either studying or on the way to exams, leaving little room for entertainment.
Additionally, most recent TV shows were full of romance and lacked genuine acting skills, making it awkward for the audience, as if they could scrape the floor with their toes due to secondhand embarrassment.
Yang Ming had only occasionally discussed well-known games and anime with a few close friends in his spare time. He hadn’t particularly focused on memorizing lines, so now he had to slowly recall them, which wasn’t an easy task.
Just as Yang Ming was lost in thought, a distant sound of footsteps interrupted his concentration.
People came before the sound arrived.
“Hahahaha, finally found you little rascals! If I can capture you and bring you back, Captain will surely reward me well.”
As the words sounded, Luffy, Ace, and Sabo stood up from the sandy ground, assuming defensive positions, their bodies tense and ready for combat.
Yang Ming’s reaction was slightly delayed, and he turned his gaze toward the source of the sound.
Three disheveled pirates approached, wearing smiles on their faces.
These pirates spend their year-round either at sea or working along the coast. They have been exposed to the blazing sun for years, resulting in dark and rugged skin. Their unkempt hair is muddied with oil and dust, and their clothes haven’t seen much washing, leaving them looking dirty and sweaty. The foul odor emitted from them is detectable from a distance.
These three pirates are sturdy and robust. Though their muscles aren’t overly developed, it’s evident that their muscles are tightly toned. Along with a tough demeanor, there’s a hint of wickedness in their expressions, indicating a readiness for aggression, armed with knives and guns.
Yang Ming’s gaze became fixed.
He recognized the lead pirate as Borshemi, a crew member of the Bursam Pirates.
The Bursam Pirates are a lesser-known, small-scale pirate group. Captain Bursam’s bounty doesn’t exceed 10 million Baileys, and most of his crew members have bounties ranging from 10,000 to 100,000 Baileys, signifying minor roles.
However, the significance of this depends on who is facing these formidable pirates.
For regular people, especially for an ordinary child, these three pirates represent ominous figures, capable of overpowering Yang Ming and subjecting him to harsh treatment.
Observing Borshemi approaching, Ace and the others positioned themselves in a zigzag formation, muscles tensed, prepared to engage in combat.
“Considering running away?”
With their speed, escaping from three pirates who regularly spent their time on the high seas was nothing more than a pipe dream.
Moreover, these three pirates had rusty flintlock pistols hanging from their waists. Facing them with his back turned, exposing his back to their muzzles, would be the dumbest thing to do.
Ace turned his back to Yang Ming and said in a deep voice, “Yang Ming, they’re here for us. This has nothing to do with you. You better run.”
“Run as far as you can!”
Yang Ming’s eyes flashed with a hint of struggle.
From a logical standpoint, he had just acquired the Six Sensei Thieves, and due to the prolonged lack of exercise and proper nutrition during his previous life, his physical condition was even worse than that of an ordinary child. He couldn’t compare to Luffy, Ace, and Sabo. If he stayed here, he’d only become a burden and be at risk of being killed by the enemy.
If Yang Ming chose to leave now and escape to a distant place to quietly develop, given time, he could become a powerful figure in his own right through the system.
But, is this the outcome Yang Ming wants?
The interactions he had with Luffy, Ace, and Sabo earlier flashed through his mind. Without them taking him in, he would probably have been unable to survive on his own, let alone in this unpredictable world.
In a place where the weak were preyed upon and at the bottom of the food chain, he might even starve to death on the streets at any moment.
Yang Ming’s guiding principle in life was to treat others as they treated him. If others gave him an inch, he would give them a foot.
Luffy, Ace, and Sabo had given Yang Ming a chance to survive. Now they were asking him to abandon his friends and escape. He simply couldn’t do it.
Furthermore, in his heart, Yang Ming understood clearly that Luffy, Ace, and Sabo weren’t ordinary kids. Each of them had an extraordinary background, and they had been subjected to harsh training from a young age. These three run-of-the-mill pirates didn’t stand a chance against them, let alone pose any threat.
This brief moment of thought passed quickly in his mind. Yang Ming’s expression became resolute as he firmly rejected Ace’s well-intended suggestion.
“Ace, Sabo, Luffy, I won’t abandon my friends and survive alone!”
Saying this, Yang Ming stood along with them.
A slight smile formed at the corner of Ace’s mouth as he looked into Yang Ming’s eyes, a hint of approval.
Clearly, those words Ace just said were not only genuine but also a test of Yang Ming’s intentions.
If Yang Ming had chosen to leave, Ace could understand, but their future relationship would be limited to that of ordinary friends.
However, if Yang Ming chose to stand up and fight alongside them, then they had the potential to become true brothers.
As they continued to chat casually, seemingly ignoring the approaching pirates, a disapproving expression crossed Borshemi’s face. He felt like he was being ignored.
He quickly halted his steps, pulled out his flintlock pistol from his waist, released the safety, and aimed it at Yang Ming, showing a menacing smile.
“Let’s start with the weakest.”
“Die, you stinking brat!”
