“These I know.”

An Ruochen bit her lip, feeling the matter was still not properly managed, but how else could it be arranged? She really couldn’t think of anything. “My Lord, how long will it take to go to Shixi County to check?”

“Ten days or half a month is always needed. If the situation is suspicious, the time to investigate will naturally be more.”

An Ruochen asked again, “Can you let me see this case’s file?”

You detain innocent people like me for no reason, violating the law and acting without justification. Can you account for it with your head? How can you justify it with the people?”

Yao Kun ignored him, but An Ruochen walked over and stood before Tang Xuan, looking at him through the cell bars. She looked at Tang Xuan, while Tang Xuan stared at Yao Kun.

There was silence in the cell.

Yao Kun frowned and looked at Tang Xuan again, reading calculations from Tang Xuan’s gaze at An Ruochen’s back.

This person, indeed, was too suspicious.
