One Day My Sister Died - Chapter 5 - Part 1
Episode 5 – Part 1
Emperor Claude Yufrees
Out there, your sister is dead.
In the hopes that within a year, she would bring Yuan back and start a new family.
There is Yuan’s new family.
A family that’s still not perfect because she’s gone.
But it’s the only family he can get away from his horrible relatives right now.
The grandeur of the mansion, rising up through the white winter forest, jolts Yuan’s dulled sense of reality.
Her older sister is dead, and her younger sister has taken her place.
The marriage was a transaction like any other between an imperial and noble family.
“That’s going to be my home now.”
She became a man’s wife and family as soon as she walked through the gates.
The…… seventh or eighth wife of the monstrous Emperor Claude Yufrees.

The carriage was blocked at the entrance to the manor.
Yuan jumped out first, glaring at the Marquis of Compani as he was inspected, then carefully followed.
A black iron fence, two feet taller than the burly guard, surrounded the mansion.
It was supposed to be for security and protection, but to Yuan, it looked more like a prison.
“…….”
The main house of the mansion was jaw-dropping.
The garden, apparently untouched by human hands, hid its ugliness under a blanket of snow.
As your gaze wandered along the pitiful white gardens, you could see the black mansion, an alien and artificial color in this white world.
Like black charcoal dropped by a giant, the mansion was magnificent, making the surroundings seem even more desolate.
Even from a distance, its breathtaking scale made Yuan’s eyes tremble slightly.
“It really is the Sacaman Mansion.”
It was an odd thing to say, but Marquis Compani, who had finished his business with the guards, was quick to respond.
“It was originally called the Red Brick Mansion.”
“?”
“It burned to the ground around the time of the Emperor’s accession to the throne.”
The Marquis of Compani groped around the mansion as if reminiscing, then passed through the iron gates alone. He left a note telling Yuan to wait for him.
Yuan was silent for a moment, and then he slowly examined the mansion.
It was even more spooky than it sounded. Not a single red brick could be seen in such a huge mansion, and the fire had not been repaired.
The current Emperor must have been on the throne for about ten years.
Even if he is an abdicated emperor, Claude Yufreesis of imperial blood, so why would he leave it like this, burnt to ashes?
‘As if on display.
Yuan pondered the mansion’s past more than its grandeur.
Would Louise have seen it like this from here?
What would she have thought of it?

The pungent smell of medicines assaulted Marquis Compani’s nostrils as he was escorted by his butler into the second floor hallway.
It was proof that the master of the mansion was awake.
He stepped through the door, which opened instantly without warning, and bowed respectfully.
“Your Majesty, I am deeply saddened by the passing of the Eighth Visionary.”
Again, there was no answer.
Compani slowly raised his head.
He could see the Marquis de Reve waving at him, and the blond man slumped in a rocking chair, not even glancing toward the door.
Behind the near-blackened curtains, his eyes closed from the daylight, was the Emperor, Claude Yufrees.
He was the owner of this black mansion.
Marquis Compani tried to hide his nervousness and speak calmly and softly.
“Fortunately, her sister, Yuan Pellieser, has been crowned the new Imperial Princess and is here with us.”
Light streamed in like a thick thread through the slightly parted curtains.
It glinted off the tip of the Emperor’s nose, which extended precisely to the ceiling.
The Marquis de Compani, who was staring at it, added.
“You are as beautiful as Louise. She has a good temper, too, and will make a good wife. She is waiting for you at the door of the mansion.”
The Marquis de Reve coughed softly as he stood beside Claude, who didn’t respond to anything he said.
A pair of dark purple eyes glinted from beneath long, shadowy lashes.
The Marquis Compani waited breathlessly for the Emperor’s answer.
“Me. Wait?”
The deep voice was more of a whisper than an attempt to communicate with someone.
The Marquis of Compani answered as if he were seizing upon the frail voice.
“Yes, sir. You’ve traveled a long way, so you ought to go out by yourself-.”
“Isn’t it better for both of us if I don’t?”
It was a question, but it didn’t sound like one.
The languidly uncovered eyes hid behind their slick eyelids again, leaving only a statement or a question.
Without so much as a smile or a glance, Emperor Claude Yufrees continued.
“If the imperial family wants a new woman in my manor, I’d better not be there. You know it, I know it, and I’m sure Marquis Reve here knows it.”
The Marquis of Compani forced a smile as his eyes scanned the state of Claude, who hadn’t even bothered to open his nightgown to reveal his upper half.
“The ninth bride has arrived safely at the palace, I am pleased to report.”
