Not Sober - Chapter 7 - END
Chapter 7
In the summer heat, nearly three months since Jenna moved in with Sung-chan, he offered her a plate of neatly sliced fruit.
“Jenna, have some,” he said, extending the plate towards her. These days, one of his favorite activities was taking care of Jenna, making sure she ate well and stayed healthy.
“Thanks,” Jenna replied, accepting the fruit. Despite being on vacation, she was busy studying for her certification.
“You’re working hard,” Sung-chan remarked.
“Yeah, trying my best,” Jenna replied, slightly frustrated by her lack of time for dating but not too bothered by it.
“Aren’t you supposed to take it easy when you have a wealthy boyfriend?” Sung-chan teased. “Skip the liver, gallbladder, and everything else.”
“Whatever,” Jenna replied with a smile, not taking his comment too seriously.
Jenna smiled at Sung-chan’s silly remark, then took a bite of the fruit with her fork.
“Thanks for the fruit,” she said, ignoring his disapproving expression.
“With your fingers?” he responded, pouting slightly. Jenna glanced up from her book to meet his eyes.
“You’re so immature,” she retorted, rolling her eyes.
Despite Sung-chan’s occasional crude comments, Jenna had become more resilient over the months. She could now brush off his remarks without getting upset.
“Oh, I want to have s*x with you!”
“Um, where’s the dog barking?”
“One minute she’s s*cking my d*ck because she likes it, and now she won’t s*ck it because she’s busy.”
Sung-chan complained, “I’m swamped. So busy.”
Jenna remained composed while Sung-chan complained.
He asked, “Feeling bored?” noticing her calm behavior.
Jenna replied, “Nah, I’m fine.”
Sung-chan complained about the exam being difficult.
“When’s it over?” he impatiently inquired.
Jenna calmly assured me that the task would be completed next week and asked for patience.
She returned to her book. Sung-chan appeared intrigued.
“You’ll grant me a wish?” he asked.
Jenna confirmed, “Just give me two weeks without interruption.”
Sung-chan expressed disbelief and asked, “Really? No strings attached?” Jenna nodded.
Sung-chan stated, “You know I tend to be inappropriate, right?”
“Yeah, I’m well aware,” Jenna responded.
Sung-chan warned, “I won’t hesitate to act if you regret your decision later.”
Jenna planted a quick kiss on his cheek and reminded him that if he flunks the test, no wishes will be granted. He looked away.
“I’m heading out to grab some groceries,” he announced abruptly.
“Out of the blue?” Jenna asked.
“I need to pick up some meat,” he said.
Jenna laughed. She was not surprised by his random errand.
“Study hard and eat well.”
He playfully warned them that he’d be keeping a close eye on her as she took every test.
Jenna burst into laughter at his serious expression as he dashed off with the shopping cart. She resumed studying and picked up her pen again.
“I should find a job,” she mused aloud.
“Why bother when I’m here?” he asked. However, he didn’t understand why Jenna was so determined to get to work.
“So I can treat you to a meal,” Jenna explained.
He has always paid the bill since they met, and it bothered her.
Her parents have naturally cut off her allowance since she left home under these circumstances. Her parents had cut off her allowance since she left home, and she had already given her savings to Sua, who helped her when she first moved out. She was left with nothing.
Jenna wanted to do something small for Sungchan, as much as he had done for her. Sungchan remained oblivious to Jenna’s quick studying, as he was too focused on selecting the meat.

Jenna had spent the entire day studying for her certification exam after her vacation. She felt so confident that she would pass.
“I failed…”
After two weeks of anxious waiting, the results were devastating.
“What…? How?”
Sung-chan asked, confused. Jenna had no answers. She hung her head in defeat.
He was about to comfort her when he looked at the screen behind her and fell silent.
“It’s alright, it happens. Don’t worry,” he tried to reassure her.
“But what company will hire me if I can’t even pass these certifications?” Jenna sighed heavily, voicing her worries despite Sung-chan’s attempt to comfort her.
“It’s okay. It’s not like it’s directly related to your major, right? Jenna?”
Sung-chan’s attempts to cheer up Jenna were unsuccessful. She remained despondent and curled up under the covers.
He felt useless seeing her like that. It was as if all his excitement about fulfilling her wish had been for nothing. She didn’t even notice when he left the room. While lying in bed, she berated herself.
She felt almost ashamed for asking him to wait for two weeks.

That day, the table was loaded with Jenna’s favorite foods, all beef. To lift her spirits, she quickly went to the store and bought top-quality beef, grade 1++ and grade 9. Jenna smiled slightly as she saw the large hot plate on the dining table.
“You usually hate dealing with grease,” she remarked.
“It’s true. But I didn’t feel like going out tonight, so I decided to bring the meat home,” he replied casually, placing several pieces on the hot plate. The aroma was enticing, and Jenna’s expression softened.
Each piece of meat brought to her by Sung-chan was savored eagerly. Jenna couldn’t help but keep eating.
“Is it tasty?” he asked.
“Yes, absolutely delicious,” she replied with a satisfied smile.
“Thank you for the meal,” Jenna said with a grateful smile, her mouth full of food.
“You’re welcome,” Sung-chan replied, relieved to see Jenna enjoying the meal.
As they ate, the dishes disappeared one by one, and Jenna, feeling full and content, looked at Sung-chan with a grateful smile.
“Thanks for being there for me, especially after I failed the test,” she said.
Sung-chan shrugged nonchalantly. “It’s no big deal.”
“And I’m sorry for not meeting your expectations,” Jenna added, feeling guilty for not passing the test.
Sung-chan waved off her apology. “Don’t worry about it. It’s not a big deal.”
Jenna sighed, remembering how she had been excited about fulfilling Sung-chan’s wish after passing the test.
“Well, forget about it. It’s not important,” Sung-chan reassured her.
He responded casually, smiling as he leaned closer to Jenna.
“Do you even need a wish to be a pervert?” he teased.
Sung-chan’s playful comment brought a relaxed smile to Jenna’s lips.
“Haha, who’s going to indulge me?” she retorted.
“Aw, won’t you do it for me? I, Jenna, felt so lonely while you were busy studying for your exams,” he teased, purring like a pet cat.
Jenna affectionately ruffled his hair and offered a sincere smile.
“Thank you for everything, big brother,” she said, her tone more serious than usual, locking eyes with him.
“Suddenly?”
“No, not suddenly. It’s something I’ve always felt, but I’ve been too embarrassed to express it.”
“Then come here and hug me. I need your love.”
He opened her arms wide, and Jenna embraced him willingly.
“Do you love me?”
“Yes, very much.”
“Will you stay with me?”
He held Jenna tighter, seeking reassurance.
“We’re a team now, you and I. We’re in this together, right?”
If Jenna worried about relying on him financially, he worried about relying on her emotionally. He feared she might leave him, like my dad.
“Of course not. Don’t you dare criticize my brother? I won’t allow it.”
He chuckled softly, feeling relieved by Jenna’s firm response. After a brief pause, he placed a quick kiss on her cheek and whispered, “You’re the only person I consider family, Jenna.”
Jenna’s eyes widened slightly in surprise at hearing him use the word “family” for the first time, something she had never expected from Sung-chan. But she quickly composed herself. There was a long moment of silence, during which Sung-chan gently patted her back, not expecting a response.
“I think… I do too,” Jenna finally said.
Another pause followed before she continued, “Because the three months I spent with you were the most relaxing and happiest days of my life.”
“Really?” Sung-chan asked, his eyes widening in disbelief.
“Yes, really,” Jenna affirmed, amused by his stunned expression. She couldn’t help but kiss him on the cheek playfully.
“You look so funny right now.”
Struggling to control his emotions, Sung-chan finally spoke up.
“I feel the same. I feel the same way.”
“What do you mean?”
“I’ve never been happier than I am with you.”
With that, he showered Jenna with kisses, covering her cheeks, the corners of her eyes, and her lips everywhere.
“I love you more than anything.”
Jenna was almost speechless as he continued to express his affection. But he persisted, seemingly unaffected.
“So I promise you won’t leave me.”
“I’ll never abandon you, silly. I love you too much.”
He held Jenna tightly in his arms for a while, a content smile on his face. Eventually, Jenna gently nudged him and said,
“Do you want to have s*x?”
“I’m so touched right now; I wasn’t thinking about sex.”
“Aww, I need a comforting d*ck right now; I’m depressed about failing my exams.”
Wow, Min Jenna, you have a dirty mind. It’s very clear. How could you do this at such a beautiful moment? …….”
“Because someone put the wrong flavor of d*ck in it.”
Sungchan laughed out loud. She answered without hesitation.
“Yeah, f*ck. I let the wrong flavor of d*ck in.”
He spoke playfully as he picked up Jenna and went to his bedroom.
The night was calm and serene. It had been that way in the past and would continue to be so in the future.
