Living with an Ex-Husband - Chapter 2: Did Everything Go Well Last Night?
Chapter 2: Did Everything Go Well Last Night?
“Ahh…!”
Eunchae’s body jerked, and her head tilted back in response to the intense stimulation. Lee Joon bit and s*cked on her earlobe repeatedly. The wet, sticky sound of friction echoed loudly in Eunchae’s ears.
“Lee Joon… stop, please stop…”
Just before she was about to be overwhelmed by a sense of guilt she couldn’t handle, Eunchae tried to shake her head and pull away from Lee Joon’s embrace.
But it was no use. Her whole body was so wrapped up in his that she couldn’t move.
“It’s hard to believe you don’t want this when your words and actions don’t match.”
Lee Joon replied with a slightly amused tone as he turned Eunchae’s body to face him. When their eyes met, she could see the heat in his eyes even in the darkness.
Eunchae’s breath caught in her throat. Every time she faced this look from her husband, she felt completely overwhelmed. Normally, Lee Joon’s eyes were cold, but now they were filled with intense desire as if he was ready to devour her at any moment.
The real problem was that she found herself aroused by that look. Even though she was frightened by the overwhelming desire she felt, her heart was pounding like it was going to burst when she knew that this look and this passion were only directed at her.
Even if it was just physical, Eunchae liked the possessiveness Lee Joon had toward her. She couldn’t resist it.
“Do you hate it?”
Lee Joon asked teasingly as he took Eunchae’s hand and placed it on his firm chest. Her eyes wavered as she felt the hardness under her palm.
“If you really don’t want this, just push me away. Then I’ll back off and behave.”
As she looked at Lee Joon, who was smiling faintly, Eunchae couldn’t help but think how unfair it was. She couldn’t push him away. It was impossible from the start.
So she stopped her pointless resistance. Knowing what her answer would be, Eunchae wrapped her arms around Lee Joon’s neck as he pressed his lips to hers. As she accepted him, she momentarily put aside the feelings of hurt and resentment she had toward him.
Lee Joon moved on top of Eunchae and kissed her passionately. His hands moved quickly, pulling off her panties and revealing lingerie he hadn’t even had a chance to fully admire.
“Eunchae…”
He called her name in a voice mixed with warm breath, his usually pleasant low tone now deep and husky. Just the sound of it made Eunchae’s body heat up.
Lee Joon kissed every corner of Eunchae’s body—her flushed cheeks, earlobes, neck, lips, and even her rounded br**st. Everywhere his eyes landed, his lips followed, pressing hot kisses onto her skin.
The sound of strong sucking on her skin mixed with wet moans filled the room. As Lee Joon kissed her most sensitive areas, Eunchae gasped and dug her nails into his shoulder.
Overwhelmed with pleasure, Eunchae tried to wriggle away, but Lee Joon wouldn’t let her go. He held her tightly and plunged even deeper into his passionate exploration of her body.
Lee Joon moved with an almost disrespectful intensity in the most sensitive area, causing Eunchae’s body to arch like a spring as a sharp scream escaped her lips. Her hands, which had been gripping the sheets tightly, were now flailing in the air.
Her lower abdomen tightened, heating up with intense pressure. When Lee Joon stimulated her swollen, sensitive spot, her vision flashed, and her mind went completely blank.
The intense, burning sensation spread throughout her body, rising to the top of her head. As the feeling concentrated fiercely in one spot, a hot rush suddenly burst between her legs.
“Ah…” Eunchae gasped, her breath shaking as she cried softly. Only then did Lee Joon lift his head and notice the tears clinging to the corners of her eyes. He gently held her limp body and hugged her tightly.
As Lee Joon positioned himself after tossing his clothes aside, Eunchae strongly protested, “No, not like this. I don’t want to!”
Even though she wanted a child, she was uncomfortable with the fact that Lee Joon had been drinking.
She wanted to conceive a child with a clear mind and a deep respect for life, not as a result of a moment of passion.
Fortunately, Lee Joon accepted her decision without protest. Nodding in understanding, he reached over to the bedside table and pulled out a small box.
After tearing the foil with his teeth and applying the contents, he entered Eunchae in one swift motion. As they became one, they both let out moans of pleasure at the same time.
“Hold on tight.”
Lee Joon guided Eunchae’s arms around his neck as he began to move his hips. With each movement, Eunchae’s body shook uncontrollably.
“Yoon Eunchae…”
As he showered her with kisses and thrust deeply, Lee Joon repeatedly called her name. Seeing her clinging to him, moaning softly, only heightened his excitement.
The intense desire and overwhelming pleasure completely took away any sense of reason. Although he knew that Eunchae’s sensitive skin was easily bruised, Lee Joon couldn’t resist biting her, leaving marks all over her body.
“Ahhh!”
Eunchae’s body shook as she screamed, the mixture of pain and pleasure overwhelming her. She clung to him as if her life depended on it, sobbing as he continued to move quickly and intensely.
Lee Joon found Eunchae’s moaning and panting, with her eyes unfocused, irresistibly beautiful, which only made him push harder. As he kissed her deeply, silencing her with his lips, he drove them both toward the climax. Every breathless moan and sob was swallowed by him.
The more Eunchae cried out in indescribable pleasure, the more intensely Lee Joon moved.
As they reached the climax, Lee Joon held Eunchae close, finally coming to a stop. Overwhelmed by the intensity, Eunchae accidentally bit his lip, and they both tasted the faint tang of blood in their mouths.
“Ah…”
Lee Joon exhaled deeply, feeling a cool sense of relief. Completely exhausted, Eunchae lay limp in his arms, breathing heavily.
“We need to clean up,” she whispered.
As her body cooled, Eunchae tried to pull away from Lee Joon’s embrace. She hated the emptiness that always followed their time together.
“Just stay a little longer,” Lee Joon said, savoring the moment as he gently pulled her back into his arms. He lightly kissed her shoulder and lips, then carefully brushed away the long strands of hair that were stuck to her sweaty neck and forehead.
Eunchae eventually stayed still, enjoying his gentle touch. She cherished the warmth and tenderness of her husband that she could only feel in moments like this in the bedroom.
She wanted to hold on to their connection as a couple, even if it was only like this.

The head of the Kumyoung Group, Chairman Tae Sung-Yeol, began his day early in the morning. Because of this, his family also had to wake up at the crack of dawn to have breakfast at 6:30.
Eunchae, who helped prepare the meal with the household staff, had to move even more quickly. Usually, she finished all the preparations by 5:30 and then went to visit her grandfather-in-law, who lived alone in the east annex, to greet him.
“Did you sleep well last night, Grandfather?” she would ask politely.
When Eunchae greeted him with a gentle smile, Honorary Chairman Tae Moo-Jin, who was sipping tea and reading the newspaper, looked at her over his glasses.
Two years ago, after Eunchae and Lee Joon got married, Tae Moo-Jin retired, handing over the company to his son, Chairman Tae Sung-Yeol, and began living a secluded life.
Taking care of him became Eunchae’s responsibility. Her mother-in-law, who never got along well with her father-in-law, quickly handed over the duty of caring for him to Eunchae as soon as she became part of the family.
Eunchae didn’t mind this responsibility. She had always respected her upright and principled grandfather-in-law, and she enjoyed spending time with him. He was the only person in the household she felt she could truly open up to.
“I slept well, but it seems like you didn’t, my dear. Why does your face look so tired?” he asked.
“Huh? Do I look that way?” Eunchae replied, surprised.
At Tae Moo-Jin’s question, Eunchae rubbed her cheek with her right hand. His guess was correct – she was tired from staying up late with Lee Joon.
“I think I’m just feeling the effects of spring, Grandfather. Don’t worry about it,” she replied, brushing it off.
Eunchae then picked up the teapot and poured tea into Tae Moo-Jin’s cup, speaking in her usual smooth tone.
“The weather is beautiful today, Grandpa. Why don’t we go for a walk together on Friday? I have asked them to prepare abalone porridge for breakfast today. The abalone that came in yesterday is very fresh, so please eat it all.”
“Of course. If my granddaughter-in-law prepared it, I must eat it all,” Tae Moo-Jin replied with a warm smile.
After taking a sip of his tea, he expressed his gratitude to Eunchae.
“You work so hard, even taking care of and looking after my meals.”
“Grandfather, please don’t say that… Besides, Mr. Lee does most of the food preparation,” Eunchae replied with an awkward smile, feeling a little embarrassed by his gratitude.
Seeing her discomfort, Tae Moo-Jin gave a bittersweet smile, reflecting on his thoughts.
“I bound you to this family because of my desires and a promise to your grandfather, but… I find myself regretting it more and more. It feels like we’re making your life too difficult.”
“Grandfather…”
Eunchae trailed off, looking at Moo-Jin as he sighed deeply.
The marriage between Lee Joon and Eunchae was arranged long ago based on a promise made between Honorary Chairman Tae Moo-Jin and Eunchae’s late grandfather. Since both men had only sons, they agreed that if they ever had a grandson and granddaughter, they would marry them.
But it wasn’t just about honoring an old promise; there were business ties as well. Eunchae’s family ran a mid-sized company that produced batteries, which were primarily supplied to Kumyoung Electronics and Chemicals.
Eunchae’s family also held several important patents, which were beneficial to the Kumyoung Group in various ways. Because of these business ties and the promise made by the elders of both families, Eunchae was married off as soon as she returned from studying abroad.
It was a loveless, arranged marriage. They agreed not to interfere in each other’s personal lives when they got married, but despite that, Eunchae loved her husband.
Eunchae had admired and looked up to Lee Joon for a full 10 years. That’s why she married him without any complaints, even though he showed no interest in her.
She believed that once they were married, she could make it work on her own. Even if he didn’t pay attention to her, she convinced herself that just being with him was enough to make her happy.
But she was mistaken. Lee Joon still saw Eunchae as nothing more than a legal roommate.
“I’m fine, Grandfather. So please don’t say things like that again,” Eunchae replied.
She smiled at Moo-Jin, who was looking at her with sad eyes, and then helped him to the kitchen.
After entrusting Tae Moo-Jin to Mr. Lee, the butler who managed the east annex, Eunchae went to the main house where her in-laws lived and helped the staff prepare breakfast.
Even though she had been doing this for two years, Eunchae often found herself exhausted by morning due to her weak stamina.
Especially on days like today.
“Lee Joon, what happened to your lip?”
As soon as Lee Joon sat down at the table, Mrs. Kang Hye-Young looked at her son’s face with wide eyes. His lower lip was split and a scab was forming.
Eunchae, who was the culprit, paused while carrying a tray of soup bowls. She hadn’t realized the extent of the injury last night, but seeing it in the morning, she noticed the wound on Lee Joon’s lip was deeper than she had thought. It seemed she had bitten him harder than intended.
“It’s nothing,” Lee Joon replied casually.
Lee Joon glanced dryly at Eunchae, who was nervously watching him and quickly made up an excuse. “I was lying down reading a book and cut my lip on the edge of the bookcase. Don’t worry about it.”
“But that doesn’t look like a bookcase cut,” his mother asked.
When his mother questioned him with suspicion, Lee Joon didn’t bother to respond. Ignoring her narrowed eyes, he instead turned to Eunchae, who was standing with the soup bowl, and urged her.
“Why are you just standing there? Bring the soup over.”
“Oh… yes,” Eunchae replied, quickly moving to serve.
At Lee Joon’s curt command, Eunchae quickly moved to serve the soup. Under her mother-in-law’s disapproving look, she placed the bowl on the table and sat down next to Lee Joon.
Just when Eunchae thought the incident with Lee Joon’s lip was over, Mrs. Kang suddenly asked an embarrassing question that made Eunchae freeze in shock.
“Did everything go smoothly for you two last night? You didn’t go straight to wash up afterward, did you?”
