The vampires were still hunting, and the number of infected was increasing rapidly. With just ten people, they couldn’t resolve this situation. They had to incapacitate the infected and protect civilians while capturing nearly fifty vampires in the meantime.

Surveying the transformed amusement park, Yoo Soo-hee quickly took out her phone from her pocket. There was only one way to resolve this situation. They had to eliminate all the vampires first and then take care of the infected. 

In that case, her task was clear. 

“…The vice master is currently with Hunter Seo Yeon-oh.” 

Darn it, what if he’s inside the gate at a time like this? And an S-level hunter at that!

Just the fact that she made the call should convey the seriousness of the situation. She didn’t have the luxury to call again. 

Having taken down only one out of the 500 vampires, Yoo Soo-hee left the broken phone behind and moved again.

Terrified by the abrupt disconnection of Yoo Soo-hee’s call, the S-level hunters immediately moved through the ‘door leading to reality’ to the location of the incident. And what they faced was the sight of hundreds of vampires soaring through the sky while hunting.

A strong burst of light momentarily illuminated the night sky. It was undoubtedly something created by Han Seung-hoo. 

If it were a flash of ordinary lightning, the vampires wouldn’t be turning into dust so easily. Vampires instantly turned to dust when touched by sacred light, and Han Seung-hoo’s light had the power to do that.

It was the first time I had witnessed Han Seung-hoo using such a powerful skill, and admiration escaped from me naturally. Now, the vampires would be resolved quickly with that light.

A young girl under attack by an infected individual appeared not far away. I immediately moved towards her. 

I grabbed the arm of the infected individual, who was opening its mouth towards the girl and lifted it. With a thud, the infected individual foamed at the mouth and fainted. 

I tried to control my strength, but it seemed I was still too strong. Although they were infected, they were still civilians and not hunters. 

Feeling a bit guilty, I silently apologized to the infected individual and approached the young girl. Then, extending my hand, I asked warmly.

“Are you okay?”

The frightened girl, who was even sobbing, tightly held my hand. She was so scared that my hand turned pale.

I gently wiped the back of the girl’s hand with my thumb to help ease her tension.
