Handsome Trash - 21
Eunhyuk stroked a stray strand of Hyewon’s hair.
Hyewon was still beautiful, even under completely different circumstances than when they first met.
She looked too damn pretty to him, even with the blush on her cheeks.
Then, her eyelashes slowly curled up, and Kang Hyewon opened her eyes.
Her eyes, empty and dark, slowly scanned his face.
“Kang Hyewon.”
At this moment, he was sick and tired of the greedy words of all the selfish people that he had listened to all day. He felt as though his ears were bleeding.
The reason for the sudden silence in his head was, ironically, the woman who had been tormenting him for the last two years, Kang Hyewon.
“I thought you wouldn’t come.”
“I can’t spare much time because I have a get-together tomorrow, so I’ll do everything tonight until tomorrow.”
He was stunned and speechless for a moment.
She almost sounded ravenous.
“You have a way of making it seem like I’m paying you to have s*x with me.”
He didn’t know if she was crazy about his d*ck or just crazy about s*x.
She really sounded like he was someone she would never see again after he checked out… Like she comes in, lies down, and waits for him as if she will need to get her fill for a lifetime.
There wasn’t even a hint of emotion from the woman who says she’ll do it all until tomorrow if she has to.
Now the lines are blurred.
Was it love or obsession?
Is it longing for an unattainable love?
Maybe it was just a miserable love affair.
“Yeah, just do whatever I say. All you have to do is spread your legs and take my c*ck.”
Eunhyuk’s fingertips slid roughly down the nape of Hyewon’s neck.
‘Why?’
It felt as if all the emotions that had been bubbling up inside him had been extinguished.
When he held Hyewon again, he was overcome with a sense of fulfillment, but in this dark, lonely room, curled up in a ball, sleeping in a fetal position, his excitement had faded.
He thought he’d be able to release some of his frustration by subduing the sobbing women beneath him and letting go.
But no matter how many times he hugged Hyewon, he felt as if his chest had been hollowed out.
“Chairman, it’s time to leave.”
The next morning, Eunhyuk awakened to a stern voice piercing his eardrums.
Secretary Cho woke him up from a sound sleep in his stomach.
The warmth that Kang Hyewon’s body would emit was gone, leaving nothing but a cold sheet. Only Secretary Cho’s urgent voice echoed in his ears.
From the moment he woke up until the sun went down, Eunhyuk was plagued by a nagging feeling.
Only one word filled his head.
“…Get-together…”
[Don’t go to dinner today. Come to my room.]
Nearing the end of the day, he sent a message to Hyewon.
He waited a long time for a reply, gripping his phone tight enough to shatter it, but Hyewon never even read it.
Eunhyuk, however, was convinced that since he had threatened her, Hyewon would ditch her party and go to him.
Except for her mysterious disappearance, Kang Hyewon had never ignored his demands before.
He had a sneaking suspicion that she would obey his orders today as well.
[I have to attend the dinner.]
It was a long time before she replied.
[I’ll see you tomorrow.]
It added more insult to the injury she had given him.
[Leave your party.]
Only then did Eunhyuk realize that the source of the annoyance that bothered him all day was the manager who relentlessly pursued what he wanted.
*.*.*.*.*.*
Even after telling Eunhyuk that she wasn’t going today, Hyewon remained on edge the entire time.
She freaked out when someone called her name, like she did something wrong, and kept drinking to prevent anyone from noticing.
“Hyewon, you’re usually not much of a drinker, but you’re drinking a lot today.”
“Today… I think the alcohol tastes sweet.”
“Come on, you shouldn’t drink so much, even on days like this.”
With Hyewon in the middle, the room service employees rolled in a cart with a 50/50 ratio of soju and beer.
“No, I’m not that bad…”
“Then I’ll match your pace, Hyewon.”
Hyewon was about to refuse with a wave of her hand, but Jisung joined to liven things up.
“Manager, don’t you think you’re favoring Hyewon too much? You don’t even drink at all, right?”
“That’s right! You don’t drink no matter how much we recommend because your liver is bad!”
“I’m just trying to match the mood, right, Hyewon?”
Jisung bared his teeth in a sneer, then poured himself a shot and filled his glass.
“Be sure to eat a lot of snacks, Hyewon.”
The speed at which he filled their glasses increased, and they had long since surpassed their limits. There was no more alcohol in the bottle.
“Well, I’ve had a lot to drink, so maybe I should stop.”
Hyewon couldn’t resist a few more drinks here and there, but before long, she surrendered.
“By the way, did you get a boyfriend lately Hyewon? You’ve been going out a lot.”
Hyewon’s roommate, Jakyeung, who had been munching on a dry snack, suddenly interrupted.
From the day she was first assigned a room in the dorm, her roommate had referred to her as “cow dung” since she was from the countryside, as well as borrowed her few clothes without telling her.
“Even though there are no rules about staying out overnight, are you finally going to show your true colors after working here for a year?”
Jakyeung didn’t like the fact that Hyewon didn’t go anywhere and just did her job.
At a dinner party where almost everyone in the dorm had gathered, Jakyeung dropped a bombshell that immediately caught everyone’s attention.
“Hyewon, have you been going out lately? I didn’t know.”
“What real colors? I don’t know anyone as sincere as Hyewon. I heard your best friend recently traveled to Daejeon, right?”
“… Yes, she’s staying for about a week. We’re meeting up after work to hang out, but then she’s off to work.”
Hyewon’s shoulders dropped even more as the manager with the highest rank in the company began to cover for her, making her feel shy under all the glances.
“Do you have friends?”
“Oh, let’s not make a big deal about grown adults going out. It’s not uncommon for them to go clubbing and return in the morning when they’re off, so why question our youngest? She’ll cry.”
One coworker, who had the most seniority, helped get Hyewon out of a tight corner.
“Oh, that’s right, Hyewon. You’re in charge of the 20th floor, right?”
lmao ya i finally got around to uploading this bad boy again and i still love eunhyuk just as much as before
