Genius Scammers Want an Easy Life After Reincarnation - Prologue Part 1
PROLOGUE – PART 1
“Yes, thank you for your hard work.”
Hearing the voice in my ear caused me to jump up in surprise.
It’s the familiar scenery, the soothing smells, lazy bodies.
Nothing seems different.
It was my usual bed where I woke up every day.
“Ha… It was the most terrifying nightmare I’ve ever had, suffocating in concrete.”
“Ah, no, it’s not a dream.”
The only difference is that a strange girl in her mid-teens sits quietly on top of a flat-screen TV.
It’s quite handy.
But it seems the butt will hurt a bit.
“You are really dead. Suffocated in concrete.”
“Ah, really?”
Usually, people would panic.
Strangely, however, I was able to see this situation as “that kind of thing”.
It is because I’m dead and yet when I think about it like this and can differentiate between a dream and reality, I can only think that something beyond my imagination is happening.
Then it’s just a waste of time to think about it.
There is no point in thinking about things you don’t understand.
“You’re very calm.”
“It’s not like that. It is just even if I think about it, I won’t be able to figure it out anyway, so I’ll just stop thinking.”
“For that reason, I think I’m seeing what I should see.”
Saying that her red eyes narrowed.
It must have been seen through.
Outside the window, there is the spine of the book and the grain of the flooring.
None of them can be memorized in minute detail and represent objects that are vaguely blurred in my dreams.
As long as I can see all of them clearly, this is not a dream… I think.
I’m not very confident.
“Now then, what should we talk about?”
The girl jumps off the TV and lands without a sound.
Her long black hair that stretched to her waist was brushed softly, and it was very smooth.
Even so, it’s black like a crow’s feather.
“Then tell me about you.”
“Me?”
“Yes, I know you’re not as old as you look. Your little gestures and facial expressions are those of a mature adult. It’s so different from your appearance that it even looks creepy.”
“Excuse me.”
“Sorry, sorry, in a way this is like a business. It’s an occupational disease.”
There is also a strange sex appeal to her sullen expression.
I felt like I had a strange feeling because of the imbalance in the innocent features.
“So who are you?”
“I’m…well, call me Marie.”
Even though she looks like a pure Japanese style, is the name French?
There is no need to unbalance it to that extent.
“Marie-chan, I see. So what kind of god is Marie-chan?”
“I’m destined… Hah, in that case, you can’t heal even if you die.”
Marie sighed in shock.
Take it as a compliment.
“Enough, let’s talk about you.”
“Me?”
“Yes, first of all, the reason why I brought you here.”
Marie took out a file from the drawer of the TV stand and placed it on the table.
I know what it is, or rather, I made it.
“Here’s a list of the people you duped.”
“Yes.”
“You defrauded the people on this list.”
“Yes, so you called me here to punish me?”
“No, it’s the other way around.”
With a faint smile on her lips, Marie-chan sat next to me.
Sorry for the late update. I’ve been busy with work these days. Enjoy 2nd prologue
