Childhood Friend Edification Theory - CHAPTER 4.7 - R19
04.Edification – Part 7
“Our Haea is a good girl.”
His gaze was entranced, as if admiring a work of art. She hadn’t even had a chance to clean herself. The mixture of s*men and her own v*ginal fl*ids soaked her insides, which he continued to devour with his eyes. His breathing became heavy and his er*ction was already twitching and erect.
“Your insides are molded to the shape of my c*ck. It’s all bumpy, just like my c*ck.”
“W-what are you saying…?”
“Shall I take a picture and show you?”
“No!”
Haea struggled desperately, and naturally her internal muscles tensed and relaxed. The lingering sensation of her cl*max left her trembling, her insides quivering, which only deepened his gaze. He watched her for a few moments before reassuring her.
“Shh. I understand. I’ll be the only one who remembers your embarrassing moments.”
“Don’t remember things like that!”
“How can I not remember something I’ve already seen?”
“You can just forget it!”
He tilted his head, not even trying to be cute. The expression on his face was one of genuine confusion, as if to say, ‘How can I forget something I’ve already seen?’ It was a way of thinking that only someone like Ha Jaeha, with his exceptional memory, could have.
After pondering for a moment, he smacked his lips in disappointment, then gently let go of Haea’s legs and pulled her into a tight embrace.
“What is so embarrassing about me looking at something so beautiful? Was I ever embarrassed when you looked at my c*ck?”
“That’s just… because you’re shameless.”
“I know how great I am.”
His words were so arrogant that they left her speechless. It was almost hard to believe that someone could have such a high level of self-confidence and self-esteem – it almost made her wonder if the gods had been fair in creating him.
“How can you be so… shameless?”
“Don’t worry. You’ll soon be like me.”
“Like you?”
“If I keep telling you how beautiful you are, even a little flower girl will eventually realize her own beauty.”
“What… flower?”
Startled by a word she’d never heard before, she clung to him as he laughed softly and whispered,
“You are beautiful, Haea.”
Though she often saw him smirk or sneer, this kind of expression was rare.
Yun Haea blushed at Ha Jaeha’s genuine affection.
* * *
The next day, Haea woke up at exactly 10am.
10:00. The digital clock was the first thing she saw when she opened her eyes, and the time it showed made her eyes tremble slightly. She fell asleep shortly after taking the warfarin last night, so she slept for almost 12 hours.
‘Why did I sleep so long?’
It was then that she noticed something unusual about her body. Her vision, blurred with heat, took in the high ceiling above her. Just below her, she saw a drip stand towering over her, dripping fluid at regular intervals. It was connected to her veins.
“Ugh…“
She was in pain. Her throat was dry, her head felt hot and all her muscles ached. It was the beginning of the symptoms of the cold. Haea tried to move, but as soon as she did, she collapsed again. Hearing the noise, Jaeha entered the room.
“You’re awake?”
He looked so haggard that it was hard to believe this was the same person who had shamelessly demanded to see her private parts the night before. Though his complexion wasn’t bad, he resembled a puppy caught in the rain.
Haea squinted her eyes, which were blurred by her fever.
“Good morning, cough!“
If it hadn’t been for the cough at the end, it would have been a perfect morning greeting, which made her a little disappointed. Jaeha looked lovingly at Haea, who smiled awkwardly, then came to the bed and hugged her tightly.
“Your fever has gone up to 39 degrees.”
“Ugh… You know I always get like this when I have a cold. I’ll be fine in a couple of days.”
“……”
His usually shameless lips fell silent. He seemed to feel guilty. Maybe he was thinking about how he should have been more reserved yesterday.
“Don’t be like that. Being gloomy doesn’t suit you. I like the arrogant and proud Ha Jaeha.”
Haea pressed her hot hand against his cheek, teasing him. Usually he was the warmer one, but now his cheek felt cool.
“Why don’t you just scold me like you usually do? Tell me off for getting caught in the rain yesterday.”
As she continued to joke, his lips twisted into a dry smile. It was a bitter smile.
“I called your mom.”
“My mom?”
“You always crave your mom’s prawn porridge when you’re sick. You hardly eat anything else when you’re not feeling well.”
“You called her here?”
“Yes. She should be here soon.”
Wow. When she told him to be shameless, he didn’t even hesitate. It was so typical of Jaeha that she couldn’t even get angry. It was a familiar situation anyway. Whenever Haea was sick, he practically kidnapped her and brought her to his place. He’d been doing that ever since he was strong enough to pick her up as a child.
“What did you tell her?”
“I texted her: ‘Haea is sick, so I brought her to my place and I’m taking care of her.’“
“Unbelievable. That line hasn’t changed in over ten years?”
Just as Jaeha was about to answer, the doorbell rang.
“She must be here.”
He checked the IV line connected to Haea’s hand, as was his habit, before getting up.
“Already?”
Only when she was left alone did Haea look down at herself in surprise. It seemed she hadn’t gone to bed properly dressed, but now she was in a set of pajamas she’d never seen before. They must have been something he had bought; they fit her perfectly. It didn’t look like the s*men had dried on her either, suggesting that he’d cleaned her up.
Jaeha had a habit of calling her mother like that when she was sick, but this was the first time since they started dating. Feeling nervous for no reason, she fidgeted until the door opened and Jaeha entered with her mother, Ji Hyeon.
“Haea!”
Ji Hyeon rushed over and grabbed Haea’s hand.
“I’m not that sick. Jaeha is just overreacting again.”
Haea rushed to explain, but Ji Hyeon’s stern hand had already landed with a slap on the back of her hand.
“Ouch!“
“You! How can you say you’re not that sick? Do you want to go on living like this, neglecting your health?”
Smack, smack. Although she only hit the back of her hand, it stung sharply.
‘Jaeha, save me.’
Haea quickly sent an SOS to Jaeha with her eyes.
“Mother.”
“Hmm? Oh... right.”
Ji Hyeon, realizing that Jaeha was still in the room, smiled kindly and regained her composure.
“I’ll go heat up the porridge. She hasn’t taken her medicine yet.”
“Omo, I should do that.”
“No, it’s better if I do it. Please, just sit down.”
“Oh-ho-ho. Would you really? I don’t know how I can repay you for always looking after Haea.”
“Please don’t say that, it’s my responsibility. I’d be hurt if you thought otherwise.”
Jaeha replied politely and with impeccable manners before carefully closing the door as he left the room.
“My, my… Jaeha gets sweeter every day.”
“…..”
That’s right. Haea’s mother, Ji Hyeon, was completely fooled by Jaeha’s act. She was so fooled by Jaeha’s facade that in her mind, Jaeha was even more trustworthy than her own daughter, Haea. Another person who shared this misplaced trust was none other than Haea’s father, Sang Hwan.
“So, you two just started dating?”
Haea jumped in surprise at the words.
“How did you know?”
“Omo~. So it really is true.”
Ji Hyeon looked pleased with herself, thinking she hadn’t lost her touch.
“Does this mean that mom can finally start calling Jaeha ‘son-in-law’?”
“S-son-in-law? What!”
“So how long has it been?”
Ji Hyeon settled down and started to bombard Haea with questions. As a mother with a very open mind, she had embarrassed Haea more than once. Her relentless questioning was almost as overwhelming as Jaeha’s.
“In that case, I shouldn’t stay any longer. I’ll take my leave now.”
“Already?”
“You know your dad and I have our weekend date. He’s waiting in the parking lot.”
Ji Hyeon and Sang Hwan were a very close couple who liked to go out on weekends. They often went on trips abroad, and the reason they were able to do so so often was largely due to Jaeha’s presence.
“Take care of yourself. You won’t find a better guy than Jaeha anywhere.”
Yun Haea was safe with Ha Jaeha.
Her parents’ absolute trust in him hadn’t been built up overnight. It was possible because Jaeha had been so good to Haea and her family for almost 15 years. Haea was grateful to Jaeha for this, but she also felt a strange emotion.
“Mom loves daughter too much to let her go anywhere, but Mom is willing to accept Jaeha.”
After hearing that, Haea’s feelings of gratitude grew even stronger. She appreciated Jaeha’s presence, which reassured her parents. She knew that she would always be their sore spot.
She always felt guilty that she was not healthy, even though she was loved and raised by a perfect couple. She often wondered if they would have been even happier if it hadn’t been for her. But Haea didn’t think of herself as defective. She knew that would be a betrayal of the people who loved her.
