Childhood Friend Edification Theory - CHAPTER 4.3 - Slight R19
04.Edification – Part 3
Lick, lick. She continued licking, teasing him with the tip of her tongue. His p*nis swelled again, barely losing any of its stiffness from her tantalizing tongue play.
“You’re trying to kill me.”
He pulled his body away. With nothing left to lick, Haea’s eyes simply fluttered in their sockets. Her tongue was still moving, but her body lacked the energy to follow.
Smooch, smooch.
Jaeha, who had rolled over, hugged and kissed both of Haea’s cheeks.
“Did it… feel good… Jaeha?”
Her voice, hoarse from overuse, was filled with curiosity as she asked him. Jaeha chuckled softly, holding her cheeks tightly with his hands.
“Insanely good.”
Smooch, smooch, smooch, smooch, smooch.
His face showed how pleased he was as he continued to kiss her all over. Like a downpour, his kisses were relentless.
“Do you like our house?”
Haea asked suddenly, as if to soak up all the affection.
Our house. If his house was their house, then her house was their house.
“…..”
Jaeha bit his lip as if at a loss for words. With her innocent question, Haea had unwittingly defeated him once again. He had been trying to find some flaw in this house to convince her to leave, but now he felt as if he’d been beaten.
“Yes.”
The tone of his agreement was as fresh as summer grass, and a bright smile spread across Haea’s face.
* * *
It was a Saturday on a day when the wind had turned cool, marking the arrival of full autumn. The sunlight was warm and the sky was blue, the kind of weather that would lift anyone’s spirits with just a walk outside.
Despite the beautiful day, Haea’s mood was far from good. She glanced anxiously at the clock and then asked the classmate holding her phone.
“Is Senior Jung-woo still… still not here?”
Her classmates were surprised by Haea’s sarcastic remark, as it was unlike her usual gentle and timid nature. Normally, she would blend in quietly without ever complaining. But this time she had reason to be angry. Although he claimed that the weekend was his only free time, Jung-woo, the upper class student, had scheduled the group meeting for Saturday and hadn’t shown up for over an hour. Their group of five, including Jung-woo who had returned to school after a leave of absence, felt more like a group of four. Unlike Haea’s other classmates, Jung-woo had a tendency to dump his responsibilities on his juniors.
“Seriously, how many times has this happened?”
“Yeah, how long do we have to wait? I have plans later!”
Two female classmates chimed in to support Haea, while the male classmate who had tried to contact Jung-woo frowned.
“Well, he says he’s on his way, so let’s wait a little longer.”
The four of them had done the research and prepared the PowerPoint, and it was Jung-woo’s task to present it. Since today’s meeting was to practice for Monday’s presentation, Jung-woo’s absence was a problem. Haea sighed as she reviewed the printed PowerPoint material.
?I’m sorry. The presenter still hasn’t shown up.?
She sent a message and received a reply almost immediately.
?What are you worried about when I’m sitting comfortably in the car waiting for you? Concentrate on your work, don’t worry about me.?
Despite living close to each other, Jaeha, a medical student in his final semester, and Yun Haea, a third-year student, were both very busy. They usually met on weekends so that they could concentrate on their studies during the week. Now, not only had their time together been taken away, but their plans had been disrupted, leaving Jaeha to wait endlessly.
?It’s only a ten-minute presentation, so it’ll be over as soon as he arrives. Oh! There he is.?
Haea, who had been waiting eagerly, quickly typed a message when she saw someone enter at the sound of the door chime.
“Sorry, sorry! You know, last night was Friday night.”
Jung-woo shouted as he entered the cafe. Although he claimed to rush in from home, his well-dressed and carefully styled hair suggested otherwise. His crisp, well-ironed shirt and neatly waxed hair suited him, but Haea only felt irritation. The other members of the group exchanged subtle glances.
“We’re here to practice the presentation, right? Yun Haea, can you lend me that?”
Whether he noticed the tension or not, he pointed directly at Haea with a cheerful smile.
“The PPT materials? You didn’t bring your own?”
“Ah… I think my printer at home might be broken.”
They were in a café near the university, with three places to print a minute’s walk away, but Haea handed over her printed materials without pointing this out.
“Oh, you printed it in color.”
Printing in color was much more expensive than printing in black and white, so students usually opted for the latter. His comment referred to this. Already on edge because Jaeha was waiting for her, even this simple remark set Haea off. She bit her lip, but quickly relaxed her expression. With the group all present, it made sense to concentrate and get the practice done as quickly as possible.
“I printed it out at home.”
“You’re diligent.”
‘Yes. Not as much as you, Senior.’
She couldn’t bring herself to say it, so she hesitated. During that pause, her phone buzzed briefly with a notification. It wasn’t loud, just a vibration, but since the phone was on the table, both Haea’s and Jung-woo’s eyes were drawn to it.
?Jaeha: Black. License plate 6731. Don’t get in the wrong car….?
Jaeha’s message appeared on the screen.
Jaeha often changed cars, and since Haea wasn’t very interested in car models, she often got confused about which car was his. After almost getting into the wrong car once, Jaeha had started regularly sending her the car’s color and license plate number in advance.
“License plate?”
Jung-woo stared at the screen with her. Haea suddenly felt very uncomfortable.
“Sorry?”
“Oh, nothing. I just looked at it since your phone went off during group work.”
He said it as if it was Haea’s fault. But she hadn’t even opened her phone to check the message, and it was only on the table because he’d arrived late, causing the table to vibrate. Besides, he was the one who had looked at her screen without permission.
“But Haea, you set an alarm? You said you only set alarms for important contacts.”
She had always been indifferent towards this senior, but now that she found him annoying, she felt incredibly irritated. Still, she couldn’t ruin the atmosphere with the others present.
“Yes, it’s an important contact.”
Haea nodded slightly and put her phone in her bag. Jung-woo’s eyes followed her actions. He stared at her bag, his eyes scrutinizing the brand logo. It was a bag her parents had given her after she had received a scholarship. Even though he was just looking, it made her feel annoyed.
“Senior, I have plans later.”
A female classmate sitting next to Haea urged Jung-woo to start.
“Right. So, starting from page 1…”
Finally, his presentation began. She hadn’t expected him to have a laptop, but as the presenter, he should have brought at least some printed material. It had been annoying from the moment he showed up empty-handed, and the presentation itself was awful. His casual tone kept straying away from the main points, focusing more on humor than substance. It wouldn’t have been so bad if there had been more to it, but that was all he had.
“Senior, this part is a bit hard to understand. You might want to explain it more clearly.”
“And the presentation is only six minutes long. It should be about ten minutes, but aren’t you going through the slides too quickly?”
With so many things to worry about, they had to run through the presentation again. It seemed that Jung-woo hadn’t taken any of their feedback seriously, because nothing had improved.
“Um, Senior…”
“Sorry, I drank a lot last night so my head is spinning. I’ll be fully prepared by Monday, I promise.”
Haea’s hands, resting on her knees, were clenched tightly. Some might say it was just a 2-credit presentation, nothing to get worked up about, but to her, grades were important.
“Yes. I hope you’ll be fully prepared by Monday.”
Jung-woo frowned at her cold tone. His expression made her a little nervous, but she hadn’t done anything wrong. When she looked him straight in the eye, he was the first to look away.
“If we’re done here, let’s just go.”
“Ah! I’m late! Look at the time! I’m leaving first!”
“Yeah, see you on Monday.”
“Take care!”
It was clear that the meeting was over. Haea also got up from her seat and looked at her phone.
?Black. License plate number 6731. Don’t get in the wrong car. As soon as you exit, turn left.?
?Got it! Just finished. Heading out now!?
Left. 6731. She was memorizing these brief details when she lifted her head.
“Have you had lunch?”
‘I should have left right away.’
Haea instantly regretted staying when she saw Jung-woo standing right in front of her. The other members of the group had already left and now she was stuck with the one person she had deliberately avoided saying goodbye to.
“I’m leaving right now. I have plans.”
Haea spoke quickly and tried to walk past him, her pace quickening with the sound of her light blue sandals tapping on the ground. Click, click. She pushed open the clear glass door and stepped outside, only to feel her wrist grabbed.
“Ah!“
Her heart raced with shock and she froze, her lips tightening before she finally managed to speak.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
When Haea shook off his hand forcefully, he scratched the back of his head with a slightly embarrassed expression.
