Breaking a Romantic Fantasy Villain - Episode 2
Episode 2. Seria Siegfried
* * *
And so they lived happily ever after.
I thought it would all end with the wedding of the two main characters of the novel.
Yoojun Choi, no, Maurice.
After three years of being the Deputy Minister of Magic, he’s going back to his original world.
“Deputy Minister Maurice Dmitri.”
Leucid, my lord and emperor of this empire, called out to me.
“Yes, Your Majesty.”
“Since you have assisted me in the defense of this empire, I am appointing you Minister of Magic.”
“Yes?”
I looked up at the Emperor at the sudden declaration.
The emperor, a handsome man with blond hair and blue eyes, smirked at me.
I wanted something from him anyway.
“Gratefully received.”
I bowed.
“Good luck with your future endeavors. Spectacular.”
Maurice would be happy when I got back.
He’d fought tooth and nail to become a minister.
Maurice should have died in the middle of the play.
He was the one who should have died in the middle of the play because he wanted to be a minister, so he attached himself to the villainous and helped him plan the most.
“I can’t die.
He gave it up.
He was able to receive a gift before returning to his real world.
‘It’s a bit of a waste to go back.”
Being a wizard was so convenient.
By the way.
When are you going back?
* * *
Not after the wedding, not even a few days afterward, could I go back to my world.
“What?”
Are you sure you can’t go back?
I’m in a bit of trouble here.
It was then.
“Mr. Minister.”
Someone knocked on the door.
“Who is it?”
“The Imperial Knights.”
“It’s open.”
A knight in ornate armor entered, saluting.
“What can I do for you?”
“We’re here about a prisoner who was executed today.”
A prisoner was executed today.
There is one.
Seria Siegfried.
The villainous heroine of Bad Happiness and the Duchess of the Siegfrieds tormented the Lady and the Man to the very end.
Her death marked the end of the novel.
Ah, the reason I couldn’t go.
“What does it matter to me if Lady Siegfried is executed?”
I asked, desperately trying to distance myself from her so I wouldn’t get caught.
What the hell was he supposed to talk about with an imperial knight?
“It would be quicker to show you than tell you.”
Sure enough, there was a chain in the knight’s hand.
He put pressure on it.
It snapped.
The chain clattered and the man standing on the other side of the door stepped through.
Clank, clank, clank.
A n*ked woman walked in, her arms and neck bound in chains.
“Hmm?”
My eyes widened at the sight.
Why was she here?
“This is Seria, who was executed today.”
“Why is she here?”
“She was executed for her status. She is no longer a member of the Siegfried family, a noble, and I should say, not even a person.”
There are two ways to execute in the Empire.
To take her life.
A social death.
The former is common execution.
The latter?
It was a bit special.
To be stripped of all that you had as a human being and become the property of someone designated by the Emperor.
That was status execution.
“You mean me?”
“Yes. The emperor has named you, Dmitri, Minister of Magic.”
My head spun.
In the original story, Seria had ended with her head falling off the firing squad.
She was supposed to die and it was supposed to be over.
“Where did it go wrong?
The ending is twisted.
I tried my best to keep it as true to the original as possible.
I don’t meet the villainess.
Except for that one thing.
I was like, “Is that it?
What if I kill her here?
I turned to see Seria standing in chains.
Her waist-length platinum hair had lost its luster. But she was still beautiful.
I ran my eyes over her n*ked body.
I took in her smooth, hairless skin, smooth shoulders, and gently curving br*asts.
“Big.”
He lowered his gaze from the pink n*pples to the tiny crack in her groin.
I could see the primeval shape she must have been born in.
Gulp.
I swallowed hard.
What a mesmerizing body.
She’d been tortured after her capture, red scars etched across her fair skin.
“What a waste.”
She was too valuable to kill as it was.
I stopped thinking about killing her.
“Killing her here won’t be the end.
An ending already twisted once.
Blowing her head off here wouldn’t guarantee my return.
Damn it.
“You can use the next two years as you wish.”
Envy filled the knight’s eyes as he watched me.
She had once been called the most beautiful flower in the empire.
A crystal on an icy cliff that no one could pluck.
It must have been a gift to honor my merit that Leuclid sent her to me.
“I appreciate the thought.”
I’d rather pay you in money.
“See you out.”
“Yes, sir.”
I snapped my fingers, dismissing the knight with a toast.
But Seria remained standing, unmoving.
She just glared at me.
“I’ll kill you.”
“You mean me?”
“The Emperor, including you, and the year you all took everything from me.”
Fast!
Seria shouted through gritted teeth.
It would have been annoying if she hadn’t hastily cast a silencing spell.
“You wizard who slept with that wh*re!”
Seria lunged at me.
If I had only been in this novel for a few days, I would have flinched.
But I’ve been here for three years.
I’ve fought countless battles in the Ministry of Magic.
In the Imperial Civil War, I was at the forefront, killing countless enemies.
And yet, I have not returned to my world.
Why am I telling you this?
It means she’s full of poison.
What I’m about to do to her is a form of venting.
Snap!
I snapped my fingers.
“Huh?”
Mana swirled and enveloped Seria.
Seria’s body lunged at me.
“Ow!”
“You must have seen me fight.”
I stood up from my seat and made eye contact with her.
“You weren’t even on the battlefield?”
“Can’t you let this go, you piece of shit who enjoys tormenting others!”
She shuddered.
“Do you still think you’re Siegfried, the noble flower that no one in the Empire can touch?”
“Of course I do!”
Foot.
Oh, I couldn’t help but laugh.
“That was a very good joke.”
“What?”
“The fact that you were executed means that your father abandoned you. To save House Siegfried.”
She didn’t answer.
She probably knew.
She knew the laws of the Empire like the back of her hand.
She just couldn’t accept it and would deny it until the end.
“You are now nothing more, nothing less, than an object I have been received by the Emperor. Whatever tests I do with you, throw you to the bums.”
After a pause, I took a step closer to her.
“Even if I humiliate you like this.”
I grabbed her large br*asts.
“Mmm.”
“It means you can’t rebel.”
She squirmed to avoid my fingers, but it was no use.
“So you’d better not put up any futile resistance.”
I use my magic to loosen the chains holding her prisoner.
I then placed a choker embedded with a blue mana stone around her neck.
“This choker will now prove your identity.”
“…….”
I was relieved to be free of the chains.
Or maybe it was because I turned away.
She jerked and reached for me again.
Bam!
“Hmph!”
The flick of my fingers made her shudder.
“What did you do!”
“It’s an enchanted restraint that will electrocute you on my signal.”
“You bastard!”
Snap!
“Crack!”
I snapped my fingers once more as if I’d lost my mind.
Seria flinched at the faint current.
Her br*asts jiggled wildly with her movements.
“You’re lucky I’m not making you into a golem, and don’t you dare mess with me in the future.”
What am I supposed to do with this woman?
