Episode 10. Hallucinations and Hypnosis
* * *
“How dare you point your sword at Dmitri.”
I said gently.
“Are you out of your mind?”
Mana swirled around my fingertips.
“As a knight of Siegfried, I cannot tolerate this! How dare you!”
Musk’s weapon gleamed brightly.
“Isn’t this to be expected?”
“What?”
“That Siegfried’s honor, executed for his identity, was sold to the Minister of Magic, a man known for his cruelty. Did you really think nothing would happen to him?”
“I thought you’d at least…….”
Musk gritted his teeth.
“I thought you’d at least have the decency. When we shared swords on the battlefield, we had basic…….”
“Shut up.”
Musk was interrupted by me.
Seria was staring at us with unfocused eyes, as if the essence hallucinations had left her mentally wounded.
Lizardman ooze has a brief duration of action.
Delaying would be useless.
“The offense of bringing a sword to bear on the patriarch of the Dmitri family is heavy.”
I let go of the mana that had gathered at my fingertips.
“Boom!”
Musk quickly raised his right arm to raise his sword.
‘Mana Balm,’ an unidentified explosive magic.
BANG!
My magic connected with the mana-encrusted blade, resulting in an explosion in midair.
In the tremor, my clothes fluttered.
“Damn.”
Musk frowned as he was knocked backward.
He struggled to regain his balance.
Even when he had both arms, this swordsman hadn’t beaten me.
The dazzling power of the Flash of the Left Sword, which had once captivated the Empire, had long gone.
Kwagwagwang!
“Crack!”
Musk’s body was hit by a magical missile I threw before he could steady himself.
They were all big mana veins.
Even if he wanted to use mana for a while, his entire body would be numb.
“Crunch!”
Musk, whose entire body was shaking, finally fell to his knees.
Even a Sword Master would have been unable to avoid the Empire’s most powerful mage’s attack.
I approached Musk, who was kneeling.
“I have no idea what you’re angry about.”
“What?”
“That I disrespected Siegfried, I don’t understand what you mean.”
I looked at Seria, who was still staring at us blankly.
“You don’t have Siegfried’s daughter, like you said earlier, do you?”
Musk’s eyes widened as he observed Seria’s state.
“You can’t be serious!”
“Enough.”
I slammed his mouth shut.
“Ugh!”
“The sin of killing Dmitri is a heavy one, but I’ll let it slide because of what you did for me today.”
Ta-da!
I made a snapping motion with my fingers.
The sword dropped on the floor with a bang and landed in Musk’s scabbard.
“Now will you turn around?”
Musk struggled to open his mouth, but it was a brief move in his mana-depleted body.
“Tell Duke Siegfried I was of service. Sebastian, send our guest off.”
“Yes, sir.”
Musk whimpered and was taken back to Sebastian.
A thump.
The door slammed shut behind us.
I approached Seria, who was stretched out on the floor.
“I, I didn’t……. I’m Siegfried’s……?”
She was babbling something about the hallucinations she’d had from the Lizardmen ooze.
Musk must have seen me and cried.
In her hallucination, however, Seria heard Musk’s shameful yell meant for her.
Siegfried did not have any daughters.
That he has just boys.
She would have interpreted it differently.
Siegfried’s devoted henchman who chose to disregard her completely.
All of those things.
It must have given her a feeling that her father had abandoned her.
Regardless of how strong she is.
She was shocked that Musk, who was so devoted to the family, would treat her as if she didn’t exist, no matter how strong she was.
“Do you understand now?”
Seria looked up at me, surprised.
“Siegfried has abandoned you. You are no longer Siegfried.”
“I’m not Siegfried……?”
“That’s right.”
This did not sit well with me.
I wasn’t planning on going this far.
“What if you don’t do this?”
She’s not going to back down from her stubbornness.
It will land them both in trouble.
At some time, I had to break her spirit.
Seria bit her lower lip fiercely to avoid my eyes.
She seemed to be bracing herself, but her eyes flitted.
“Do you really have no idea what it means when even the loyal who followed Siegfried ignore you?”
“…….”
She didn’t bother to respond.
I sat beside her and whispered in her ear.
“So you can forget about Siegfried now, which means you also forget about all of the problems under me.”
I stretched out and squeezed her br*ast softly.
“Ohhh Big…….”
Seria flushed and lowered her head in shame.
She flinched, but she didn’t fight back like she had before.
Her obedience made my heart beat fast in my chest.
Not only was there [sexual sadism].
Her br*asts were so large and beautiful that I wanted to hold them forever.
The lust he’d been suppressing came to the surface right away he felt the soothing touch.
‘I must fight.’
A million internal conflicts arose within him, but his face remained calm.
At situations like this, Maurice Dmitri’s fastidious disposition came in helpful.
The bracelet manufactured from Lizardman essence had other effects besides hallucinations.
Light hypnosis.
If the bracelet’s owner was delusional and mentally weakened.
Mild hypnosis was an option.
Ding, ding, ding, ding.
I slowly removed the buttons on the maid’s dress.
Seria lifted her head and looked at me.
Her eye was distracted when she looked at me.
Hazel eyes didn’t seem to understand what I was doing.
“Seria.”
I said her name out loud.
“Give up Siegfried and embrace your new life, and if you do, I will give you happiness.”
Tsk.
Her chest heaved against the gravity of the clothes as the last button undid.
Our breaths were close enough for us to feel each other.
As I spoke in her ear, an icy feeling ran down his back.
“Happiness…….”
She repeated herself, her face confused.
“Yes. Happiness. I’m going to make you happy.”
What kind of happiness is that?
I didn’t say anything.
I cupped her sagging, curved br*asts.
Then I kissed the nape of her neck slowly.
To gradually bring her body heat up.
“Hmm, hmm.”
Her chest heaved, her breath becoming increasingly heated.
“So give yourself to me.”
Seria nodded, her eyes locked on me.
What had she been doing just now?
“Tell me what you want to do. I’ll listen.”
“What I want to do…….”
She pursed her lips and focused her eyes on me.
“Ugh…….”
“What did you say?”
I asked, too quietly to be heard.
“I want you to make a mess.”
That was the first time I heard those words.
My heart felt like it was ready to explode.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
I thought I had a sadistic streak.
nice to have things out in the open like way.
“Do you think you can handle it?”
Seria paused for a minute.
She then nodded, as if transfixed by something.
“Interesting.”
I had no idea how much a person could change all at once.
Seria wasn’t exactly in her right mind just now, what she was experiencing the hallucinations and the hypnosis.
She, on the other hand, was not in the mood.
“I’ll give you what you want.”
I made a snapping gesture with my fingers.
The red candles on the table were out.
“We’ll start lightly. Don’t move.”
I held the mana in my fingers and stroked Seria’s body on the couch slowly.
The mana from my fingertips enveloped her skin.
It was a magic that would not only protect her skin, but would also turn pain into pleasure.
For the moment being, I’d exploit the tremendous pleasure to plant new ideas in her mind.
“Forgot Siegfried.
If this is carried out, her education will improve significantly.
That is the only reason she is resisting.
is her stubborn pride at being Siegfried.
We’ll have achieved our first goal if we are able to break down her walls.
That was the first constraint I put on her.
A band-aid solution that sent an electric current through her everytime she had an arrogant thought.
“I’ll make use of it in the future.”
I eventually want her to be free of Siegfried.
I lit the candle after applying a single coat of mana to Seria’s body.
Flame.
The fire was blazing, and red wax started dripping down the candle.
“I’ll do what you want.”
Seria stared expectantly at the candle in my hand.
Snap.
The red candlestick shattered and landed on Seria’s white chest.
“Hmph!”
She smothered a sigh by biting her lip.
She felt the pain of burning flesh.
It wasn’t a low-melting candle designed for this type of fun.
It took only a split second for the pain to turn to pleasure.
Seria clenched her eyes shut.
I dropped the candle without saying anything.
Seria’s chest had been burned by the red candlestick.
As if they were constellations in a white sky.
She squirmed each time, but she didn’t run.
She was following my instructions not to move.
I didn’t say anything romantic.
Just silence, playing the part of a cold-blooded master.
“Hmph.”
Seria bit her lower lip firmly.
I rubbed the candlemarks on Seria’s chest, where the solid yet soft flesh was visible.
The writhing became more intense as she fell.
“Bam.”
Around the spot where the candle was dropped, a red blossom sprouted.
It looked like hundreds of flowers had bloomed on her body.
She was perfectly deserving of the title “Flower of the Empire.”
The hard candle had melted halfway.
“Ha, ha, ha.”
Seria writhed in pain and ecstasy, moaning.
Her eye turned to my c*ck as she sagged on the couch.
As if they were looking for something.
She looked like she wanted to reach up and grab it but couldn’t.
Her hand was slightly shaking.
‘It’s clearly working.
The ointment’s hypnotic effect.
But that was the end of it.
Musk had left the room with the bracelet a while earlier.
The hypnosis would wear off soon and everything would return to normal.
“Three, two, and one.”
It has to be now.
Seria’s eyes returned to focus, her chest pounding.
“Huh?”
She didn’t appear to realize what was going on.
“Do you think you’re awake?”
“What the hell?”
She worried as she looked at the candlestick splattered on her body.
She shuddered once, as if an electric current ran through her body.
I didn’t respond.
She quickly bit her lip and grabbed her maid’s uniform from the floor to cover up herself.
“It’s still the same.
Such an angry attitude, and right out of hypnosis.
I didn’t expect it to happen all at once.
But.
‘I’ve instilled in your mind the idea that you’ve been abandoned by your family, thus I’ve achieved my first goal.
“As you have seen today, Siegfried chose to abandon you.”
“No, I’m still Siegfried, no matter what anyone says.”
Seria’s eyes glowed with resolve as she stared at me.
But.
She became considerably weaker than before.
She would doubt again and again.
She will wonder if Siegfried truly abandoned her.
And whether or not the seeds I planted bore fruit.
“That would be nice.”
I could feel the pressure from below.
“Now get out. I don’t want to see your face anymore.”
Seria shuddered again as she looked at me.
“Hmph!”
I’m not sure what it was, but it had to be something cheeky.
She walked out not long after.
“Master.”
Sebastian entered the room.
“Did you recover the bracelet?”
“Yes.”
Sebastian handed the bracelet to me.
Lizardman essence was used to make this psychedelic bracelet.
It worked perfectly.
“I have at least two more uses for this.”
I’ll have to use Lizard Essence’s hallucinogenic and hypnotic effects as needed.
I opened my mouth and looked down at the bracelet.
“Sebastian.”
“Yes, my lord.”
“How is she doing?”
“Do you mean the maid?””
“Yes.”
“She’s doing much better than I expected.” Maybe it’s due to her master’s training.”
“……. Adapting.”
It was an unsuitable word for Lady Siegfried.
She did not adjust to the world; rather, she forced the world to adapt to her.
“Still, you’re saying there are changes.”
“Yes.”
That was a huge relief.
That this whole thing hadn’t been a waste.
“Master, what shall we do with the maid?”
“Keep an eye on her and train her as you are now.”
“I see.”
Sebastian respectfully bowed.
“Oh, and.”
I turned my head to look at Sebastian.
“We’ll have visitors soon, so get ready.”
“Understood.”
I didn’t want to see her.
“It’s unavoidable.
