Better To Be A Demon Than Immortal (NPH) - Chapter 6
Chapter 6
Love and Hate
On the second day, the Lin Xian Sect officially held recruitment for women to cultivate immortality in Yuan Heng City. Initially, it was none of Liu Wu’s and Cui Yu’s business, but in the end, they also went.
From morning to night, Liu Wu was exuberant. He had heard the word ‘Young Master Liu’ no less than ten thousand times, but not the one he desired.
At night before he went to sleep, he finally said to Cui Yu: ”Senior brother, I think I’m in love with Miss Wei Zi. If I don’t see her for one day, I feel like something is missing.”
“If I return to the Lin Xian Sect like this and never meet her again, how hard it would be for me ……”
“Junior brother, you’ve only known her for two days. How did she become so engraved in your heart?” Cui Yu said.
“Senior brother, you don’t understand. When I saw her, I felt I had known her and should have fallen in love with her long ago, perhaps in a previous life.” Liu Wu said.
“If I can’t see her, I feel so sad.”
Cui Yu comforted him, “Junior brother, we cultivate the Emotionless Dao. As we cultivate longer, our cultivation level will increase. We will even forget our relatives, so how will we remember these love affairs.”
“Junior brother, are you willing to give up cultivating immortality for Miss Wei Zi?”
There was no reply, but Cui Yu could no longer sleep. Because he felt the same as his Junior Brother, could it be that he was also in love with Wei Zi?
Liu Wu went to find Wei Zi again. When Cui Yu got up, he didn’t see his silhouette. He even severed the thousand-mile voice transmission.
Meanwhile, Wei Zi opened the door to see wet, delicate camellias and the dew-soaked clothes of the teenager holding the flower. They walked together on the street.
Liu Wu told her about the cultivation of immortality in the mountains. Wei Zi held this bunch of flowers between her nose and sniffed it lightly.
Do they all only know this trick? Wei Zi lamented in her heart. Duwu was like this, and so was Lian Sheng. She looked at Liu Wu as he bought her sugar gourds and even colorful kites she chose on a whim.
Is this person just craving her body?
Did he love her? To what extent?
Wei Zi remembered the little prostitute in Goulan Brothel who wanted to kill her Duwu.
Wei Zi also thought of Lian Sheng, who wanted her to die with him.
Wei Zi’s malicious little heart suddenly rose.
Liu Wu did not expect a sudden kiss with a hint of hawthorn sweetness to fall on his lips.
So how much did he love her? Willing to die for her? Wei Zi thought in her heart.
His face was red all over and remained frozen in place.
Only after she had gone far away did he chase after her in a distressed manner.
Cui Yu hid behind one of the mandarin duck lanterns, his heart inexplicably soured.
For several days in a row, Liu Wu stayed with Wei Zi.
Liu Wu and her were like a young married couple stuck together.
They eat a bowl of wontons together on the street.
They watch the sunset at dusk.
They watch the stars and moon in the sky from the rooftop.
Wei Zi tried her best to be as shy as a little girl. She didn’t know how many times she was doing it. The more Liu Wu treated her like this, the more her disgust for Liu Wu increased. Her restless and agitated heart urged her to take action against Liu Wu.
In the end, her sanity took over. How could her demonic skills that she had practiced for less than a day or two be a match for a Jindan cultivator?
A change occurred on the last day before Liu Wu had to return to the Lin Xian Sect.
That day happens to be the Lantern Festival. Eventually, they had to part from each other.
Wei Zi wore gorgeous clothes and beautiful Moon God makeup. She adorned her hair with flowers and coated it with an intoxicating fragrance.
In her hand was the Godslayer Knife that she had spent a fortune on and could only be used once.
She couldn’t stand it anymore. She wanted to kill Liu Wu.
…………………………
Isn’t it exciting?
