Chapter 26 – Battle of the Divine Souls
When Wei Zi woke up, Liu Wu and Cui Yu were at her bedside. To be precise, she was sleeping on Liu Wu’s bed. She sensed that her body was ‘weak.’ Not only was her demonic qi sealed off, but it was also because she had stayed in the mountain for a long time. The formation was controlling her body slowly. Her hatred for Qing Ling instantly climbed to the ninth heaven, along with Liu Wu and Cui Yu, the two spiteful accomplices in front of her.
“Ah Zi ……,” Liu Wu saw her wake up and immediately fed her some dew.
“What hour is it now? I still need to go and do some morning— lessons,” Wei Zi said in a raspy voice.
“Ah Zi, you are already in a coma for two days. Since Master has accepted you as a disciple, you won’t need to go to the Discipline Hall anymore.” Liu Wu said.
“Junior brother, ask Senior Sister Linglong for some Energy Fixing Pills. I’ll guard Wei Zi here.” Cui Yu, who was silent on the side, opened his mouth.
Energy Fixing Pills were designed for ordinary disciples to fix their qi, which could help Wei Zi.
Liu Wu mentioned it to Cui Yu when he was taking care of her. However, he didn’t know when Wei Zi would wake up, so he put it aside.
Senior Sister Linglong resides in the Condensing Snow Peak, surrounded by flying snow. Cui Yu couldn’t go because he had just passed the Lightning Tribulation.
“Okay, senior brother, you must take care of Wei Zi. A Zi, I’ll return as soon as possible. Have a good rest.” Liu Wu said.
Wei Zi sat on top of the bed and nodded weakly.
Liu Wu turned into a wind and disappeared.
After he had left, Wei Zi directly met Cui Yu’s icy cold line of sight.
Cui Yu slowly approached Wei Zi.
Wei Zi was not the least bit afraid and looked at him coldly. “Senior brother, what is your intention?” Wei Zi raised his eyebrows and said.
Cui Yu did not answer, only shot a light from his brow straight into Wei Zi’s forehead.
Cui Yu saw a white plain of ice and snow around him, making it difficult to find his way. He activated his spell, and a blazing fire ignited around him, shooting straight into the middle of the sky, melting the ice and snow. He wanted to wipe out the place and pull her Divine Sense out.
Wei Zi’s eyes were tightly closed, and her face was flushed. She screamed, and a blazing fire burning between her foreheads. After the frost in Wei Zi’s divine sense melted away, Cui Yu’s divine sense finally saw Wei Zi’s.
She was naked with nothing on her body. Cui Yu couldn’t help but move his face away. Once he captured her divine sense and searched the soul, he would know her real identity and intention.
Cui Yu did not hesitate to fly forward to seize the divine sense, but it dissipated and suddenly appeared behind him. When he turned around, it materialized behind him. This scene repeatedly occurs and is akin to treating him as a monkey.
“Senior brother …… did you know this whole place was created only for me?” Wei Zi laughed maniacally.
Cui Yu was thrown into the air by a sudden force and then fell heavily on the ice that had not melted, splashing a few feet-high ice water. His bones cracked while his thin shirt stuck to the ice, his flesh sticking together. He couldn’t help but spit out a mouthful of warm blood. The blood turned into frost on his thin shirt, resembling red plums.
Wei Zi appeared before him and stepped on Cui Yu’s face without mercy.
If her divine soul is not strong enough, the one suffering pain would be herself. She was most afraid of pain.
A long whip full of thin nails appeared in Wei Zi’s hand. She hit Cui Yu’s body fiercely, striking his clothes to mark out a trail of blood.
“Senior brother, you should be grateful to me. Thanks to your good-looking face, I didn’t hit you in the face ……”
Cui Yu was beaten to death and couldn’t speak a single word. As he listened to Wei Zi’s words, his heart unexpectedly gave birth to a hint of hidden joy.
Although Qing Yu suppressed Wei Zi’s cultivation, her divine soul was not inferior to Cui Yu’s. All things here were born for her soul.
A spiritual energy was born steeply in Cui Yu’s dantian, and his eyes were crimson.
Wei Zi could feel the demonic qi in her body running amok. It was Qing Yu who messed up. She couldn’t help but move closer to Cui Yu and tried to soothe herself.
Qing Yu’s words echoed in her mind, and she looked at the red-eyed Cui Yu on the ground and noticed that Qing Yu had healed his wounds – all of this was his doing.
