Chapter 23
Accepting a Disciple
When Liu Wu saw Cui Yu waking up, he came to the bedside. He bowed and asked with concern, “Senior brother, who hurt you?”
Wei Zi was behind Liu Wu. When their gaze met, the corner of her mouth hooked up a provocative smile, “Senior brother Cui Yu, you finally woke up …… You made me and Liu Wu worry ……”
“Senior brother, is there any evidence? Let us help you catch the demon. The immortal crane that delivered the bamboo slips for our new disciples died so miserably. I heard that its body was decapitated. Senior brother, you are blessed with a great life.” Wei Zi continued.
Cui Yu’s eyes darkened with scorn toward Wei Zi. He couldn’t forget the cold light that flashed before his eyes.
Although Wei Zi was only at the level of Foundation Establishment, he understood that her strength was mysterious and that she wasn’t an ordinary mortal.
He didn’t have any evidence. Lin Xian Sect was more concerned about evidence, so he could not do anything about it. Moreover, she has always been good at disguise, especially her pathetic look. Even he himself had fallen for her, let alone his junior brother, who had long devoted to her. The others think that he must have slandered her.
He could only slowly open his mouth and spoke with a raspy voice: “A demon with a few similarities to Master ……”
At this time, Wei Zi felt some aura fluctuations. Then, she saw Qing Yu over. When Wei Zi saw his face, she could not help but scorn him.
“Master ……” Liu Wu opened her mouth. Liu Wu looked at his master teacher. Although he was in the Lin Xian Sect for over twenty years, he and Cui Yu only met his master teacher only a handful of times.
His master was in seclusion almost all year round. The number of times he and Cui Yu met him was not as much as the number of times they saw their master ancestor, Luo Que, who occasionally used a voice transmission to send messages.
Qing Yu smiled kindly at Wei Zi, and Wei Zi felt her scalp tingle. Liu Wu stood in front of Wei Zi, blocking Qing Yu’s line of sight for her.
Qing Yu walked to Cui Yu’s front. Then, a spiritual light emerged from his palm moving slowly from Cui Yu’s head to his forehead.
Cui Yu’s miserable pale face began to blush, and his body recovered at a speed visible to the naked eye.
“Many thanks, Master …… cough ……” Cui Yu gasped for air and said.
Qing Yu turned to look at Wei Zi behind Liu Wu and said, “You are an outer disciple, right? In a few days, it will be the Master Worship Ceremony. You should worship under my guidance ……”
Wei Zi coldly grunted in her heart. She gritted her teeth and said, “Thank you, Mister Qing Yu ……”
Qing Yu gave Wei Zi another smile and disappeared.
Liu Wu’s face was full of surprise. Qing Yu had only accepted two of them as disciples for more than five hundred years and didn’t care about the affairs in the Lin Xian Sect. But now he was planning to accept Wei Zi as a disciple, which was unexpected.
Could it be that he knows Wei Zi’s relationship with him? He couldn’t help but hold Wei Zi’s somewhat cold hand.
Amazement also filled Cui Yu’s face. He thought deeper than Liu Wu and felt that the matter of accepting a disciple was not so simple.
Wei Zi and Qing Yu must have secrets.
“Senior brother, you rest well …… I will take Ah Zi around the mountain ……” said Liu Wu.
Cui Yu slowly nodded without looking at them. He knew what was in Liu Wu’s mind and what they would do next. His heart could not help but feel sour. He and his junior brother had deep feelings since childhood. His junior brother was naive, and he could not bear to hurt him.
Cui Yu did not know how, but Wei Zi’s charming demeanor suddenly surfaced in his mind, along with every moment of his intercourse with her.
He couldn’t help but seal his emotions and began to recite the mind-clearing incantation over and over again.
