Better To Be A Demon Than Immortal (NPH) - Chapter 11
Chapter 11
The Blind Groom
Wei Zi unconsciously walked into the mist. Silence surrounded her, and she was inevitably filled with fear, so she could only use her shoes to measure the distance.
Suddenly, the white mist dissipates. A peach forest appeared, with a secluded little building in the middle. Red silk ribbons decorated the little building, like a marriage ceremony.
Wei Zi walked forward and heard the sound of a zither.
A man wearing a red robe was playing the zither before him.
When she walked in to check it out, Wei Zi could not help but be fascinated with his skin. His face was delicate and snow-white, the green veins under the neck were faintly visible, and his thin lips were fragile as a flower. His nose bridge was high with white silk covering his eyes, his eyebrows were like a curved moon, and a crown made of jade bundled his hair high.
He wore bright red festive clothes instead of a red robe embroidered with dragon and phoenix, and peony drawings covered the collar and cuffs of his coat.
“Who are you?” The man’s cold voice came out.
“This junior is Wei Zi, the new outer disciple of the Lin Xian Sect. I got lost and landed here. I have no intention of disturbing His Holiness. Please forgive me, His Holiness.” Wei Zi said.
Luo Que thought, so she was a mortal. That’s why the formation couldn’t stop her.
“Where are you going?” Luo Que asked coldly.
“This junior is heading to the shabby house in …… the top of the north mountain,” Wei Zi said.
When he finished listening to Wei Zi, he felt a headache. It was like he had remembered something. But at the same time, he couldn’t remember anything.
With a flick of his sleeve, Wei Zi disappeared without a trace.
Wei Zi could only see the scene change, and then she was in front of a shabby house. She sighed in her heart, only to see cobwebs and gray layers everywhere.
This level of wreckage is because no one had lived here for centuries, right?
As soon as she entered, she covered her mouth and nose to avoid the ash from entering her body. Her feet felt shaky on top of the wooden planks. She might as well cut down a tree and build another room.
The rotten wooden board fell from in front of her. Wei Zi used her hand to support it, but the sharp edges cut her palm, and the board landed on a piece of old paper on the ground.
Wei Zi immediately shoved the board and then ripped off a strip of cloth from her clothes to bandage herself.
The old paper emitted a cold light, and Wei Zi curiously picked it up to look. She saw the dust disappear, and it became a book. It was titled the Demon Cultivation Book.
She curiously opened the book and saw that the first page read, ‘You need to be a woman to be able to use this technique.’
The second page noted that this book wrote by the first person who ascended to the Demon Realm, the Enchanting Moon Ancestor, and once you practice it, you can’t stop it.
“Ah Zi junior sister ……,” She heard someone calling her from afar. It sounded like Liu Wu.
Wei Zi immediately placed the book into her jade pendant.
“Senior Brother Liu Wu, Senior Brother Cui Yu.” Wei Zi went out of the shabby house to see them.
“Did you injure your hand?” Liu Wu spread Wei Zi’s palm and used spiritual energy to heal her wound perfectly.
“Senior brother Liu Wu, thank you.”
“How can you live here? This house is too shabby.” Liu Wu frowned. He tried to bribe Senior Sister Xiyue, but she scolded him instead. Now there was nothing he could do.
“I came late. This house is the only choice. It’s fine, senior brother. Although I’ve never lived in a place like this, I should be able to hold out.” Wei Zi said.
As soon as Liu Wu heard this, he insisted that the situation couldn’t be like this. “Senior brother, let’s rebuild a room for Ah Zi.” Liu Wu looked at Cui Yu with a pleading face.
Wei Zi also looked at Cui Yu with a burning gaze.
“I have no problem with that.” Cui Yu tilted his head and replied.
Hence, they became busy from the early morning until the night, and by the time they fixed the last piece of rubble, their spiritual energy was exhausted.
“Many thanks to the senior brothers.” Wei Zi said to them.
She kissed Liu Wu and pressed her body against his chest, “I’m scared to be alone. Can senior brother stay with me tonight?”
