Summary
On the day of her wedding, which she has relived countless times, Vinea, with a voice filled with disgust, addressed her husband, the Emperor Tatar.
“You did well to stab a knife into your own heart. Everyone present must have realized that His Majesty had gone mad.”
Tatar responded with a leisurely laugh.
“Was it as impressive as the bride who broke her neck jumping off a moving carriage? Was that our twenty-fourth honeymoon? The sight of the empress jumping with a confident smile and hands behind her back was indeed valiant.”
Surviving an insane reincarnation cycle, they managed to keep a semblance of sanity by anchoring themselves to each other. How many deaths would it take to end this loop? As Vinea desperately sought a way to die as a human, Tatar’s gravelly voice whispered in her ear.
“If we stay in this hell, will the empress remain my salvation forever?”
She had to find a way to end the reincarnation as soon as possible, before the man standing before her completely lost his mind.
