Beast, Blue Blood - Chapter 93
Chapter 93
Si-woo stepped back unknowingly.
“Miss.”
Ha-yeon kept approaching without answering, looking like a doll from a horror movie. Thus, Si-woo continued to retreat.
It wasn’t until Ha-yeon suddenly pushed him and he stumbled into the room that Si-woo came to his senses.
“What…”
On the wall of the guest room, which no one used, was the teddy bear he had given her, propped up. In other words, Ha-yeon had planned from the beginning to bring the teddy bear here and corner him. Now it made sense why the restroom on the first floor had been locked.
The door closed behind Ha-yeon, and Si-woo’s brow twitched slightly.
“Miss.”
He called out, but Ha-yeon asked without concern.
“Why didn’t you answer the phone?”
“I was busy.”
“Liar.”
Si-woo closed his mouth. They both knew that any further explanation would be just excuses.
“Everyone must be looking for you.”
He said and reached for the b*tton to open the door, pa$sing by Ha-yeon. Ha-yeon let him pa$s but spoke as Si-woo was about to open the door.
“If you go out, I’ll tell everyone what happened yesterday.”
Si-woo hesitated, frowned, and turned back.
“Miss.”
Ha-yeon, who was annoyed by her parents’ interference, probably wouldn’t have gone that far, but he couldn’t relax. He himself might not know what she’d do with that personality.
Ha-yeon shrugged.
“You don’t listen, so what can I do?”
Si-woo frowned in silence. Ha-yeon approached, but this time Si-woo didn’t retreat. There was nowhere to go in this small room anyway.
“You look troubled.”
As she said this, Ha-yeon cupped Si-woo’s cheek. Si-woo looked at her with lowered eyes. Something seemed to be swimming in her red eyes.
“It’s provocative.”
“Miss…”
“That ‘miss’ stuff is getting old.”
Ha-yeon scowled and then smiled more sweetly than honey.
“Give me a kiss.”
When Si-woo still didn’t move, Ha-yeon gave a mischievous smile.
“After all, we’ve tried too. We’ve tried to endure. Right?”
Their faces came closer. But Si-woo couldn’t refuse, as if he had heard the queen’s command.
How dare he in this state—
He thought, but as their lips met and Ha-yeon’s tongue delved into his mouth, it didn’t stop. She opened her mouth to welcome him. As she rubbed her lips and lightly sucked his tongue, Ha-yeon made a soft moan as if she were enjoying it.
From the moment he entered this house, Si-woo realized that this was all he wanted. He felt like begging Ha-yeon to let him kiss her. Once the dam was broken, it couldn’t be stopped.
Really pathetic, Chu Si-woo.
Even as he thought this, his body and mind couldn’t act separately.
“Si-woo…”
Ha-yeon gasped for breath.
“Good, so….”
Between their entangled, sticky tongues, hot whispers seeped out.
“Strangely…”
Si-woo wrapped his hand in Ha-yeon’s hair and tugged it. As Ha-yeon swallowed a moan and tilted her head slightly, he thrust his tongue deep.
He could no longer discern what was what. He only wanted to feel this hot and loving body. His mind went blank, and his body burned.
He pressed Ha-yeon against something soft, kissed her, and grabbed her chest over her blouse. Ha-yeon moaned and wrapped her legs around his thighs, pulling him closer.
The two of them slid slowly down, leaning against the teddy bear. They laid on the stuffed animal and kissed until they were breathless.
Rather than by intention, they ended up sliding down and half-reclining on the teddy bear as their bodies instinctively pressed closer together.
Si-woo looked down at Ha-yeon.
“Are you okay? Even in this state.”
“Because it’s you.”
Ha-yeon traced her finger from Si-woo’s jaw, down his neck, and to his chest.
“What you see is just the surface. Even in this state…”
Ha-yeon’s hand moved further down, and she lowered her gaze. Si-woo’s eyes grew darker. Her small hand traced something solid and unmistakable.
Then Ha-yeon embraced Si-woo with her other hand, pulling him closer, and whispered in his ear.
“Hiding things like this.”
Her voice, mixed with laughter, stirred his insides.
Si-woo, seeming to be more provoked, pushed her teasing hand away and kissed her roughly.
“Si-woo.”
Ha-yeon gasped and spoke.
“Come in.”
“No. Everyone is downstairs…”
Despite the words, Si-woo showed no sign of stopping. He rubbed against her, making her gasp. Ha-yeon licked his lips, jaw, and the area where his jaw meets his neck, biting his lips urgently.
“I can’t stand it. I want it.”
Can’t stand it? Ha-yeon couldn’t even imagine what he was feeling. It was only doubtful whether the medicine he took wrong yesterday had cleared from his system.
“Ha-yeon?”
Suddenly, a voice came from outside the door. Both of them froze. Especially Si-woo, who felt like he’d been struck by lightning, rem*mbered where they were.
Ha-yeon also seemed to realize that the timing and place weren’t right and whispered in his ear,
“I’ll come home tomorrow. Don’t run away. If you do, I’ll be very nasty.”
She gritted her teeth and bit Si-woo’s ear hard enough to make it numb.
“Very nasty.”
Ha-yeon then stood up, straightened her clothes in front of the door, adjusted her hat, and went out with only a slight opening of the door.
“I’m here.”
The voice from outside was calm.
“The cake is ready. What were you doing?”
Yeon-ha asked.
“I was on the phone with a friend for a moment.”
The response was still as if nothing unusual had happened.
“By the way, I don’t see Selena. Do you know where he is?”
“I don’t know.”
Then he felt the presence of the two people disappearing down the stairs. Si-woo, sitting with his knees up, tilted his head back against the teddy bear. He couldn’t believe it. What could he possibly do in this state, with all the clan m*mbers downstairs…
After sitting for a while, Si-woo got up and left the room. He then ran into Eugene coming out of the second-floor restroom.
“Why are you coming out from there?”
It was just at the moment he faced Eugene that Si-woo asked a question he normally wouldn’t.
“The restroom on the first floor is locked.”
Since it seemed Ha-yeon had not yet unlocked the first-floor restroom, Eugene answered nonchalantly, looking at the door Si-woo had just exited.
“What were you doing in the guest room?”
“I was on the phone.”
Just as Si-woo answered…
“Hisha, give me more cola.”
Ha-yeon’s voice came from the first floor. Eugene looked at the first floor where the voice was coming from and then at Si-woo.
Si-woo couldn’t believe it. This woman was too perceptive…
Eugene spoke with an indifferent expression.
“Wow.”
Si-woo nearly collapsed from weakness but managed to maintain his composure.
“At least, we stayed apart while she was growing.”
“Do you think that’s an excuse? You weren’t waiting for her to grow up, were you?”
Si-woo sighed.
“There’s a reason why they say not to trust a young-looking vampire.”
She said and then went down the stairs.
* * *
“Thank you for coming.”
Although Ha-yeon had taken off her hat, she still wore the same outfit. She lightly hugged and then released Hero, and approached Si-woo.
“Selena.”
Si-woo wanted to beg her not to, but Ha-yeon embraced him, pressing her chest gently against him.
Seeing her intentionally doing this, Si-woo wanted to find any god he could and pray. He was beginning to truly fear this little devil.
“Thank you for coming.”
Ha-yeon looked up at Si-woo and said with a cute expression, clearly pleased with his reaction in the room earlier.
Feeling Eugene’s gaze from the other side, Si-woo tried to gently extricate himself from Ha-yeon’s embrace.
“Good night.”
“Sleep well.”
Si-woo turned and got on the helicopter. The door closed, and the fuselage began to rise. The brightly lit house gradually became smaller and more distant.
Si-woo remained motionless, looking out at the darkness. It felt like the warmth clinging to his ear would never go away. Although Ha-yeon had bitten him hard enough to draw blood if he were human, the pain had already subsided. But the sensation of her breath lingered. This was at least not the effect of the medication.
He couldn’t withstand it. He felt helplessly swept away.
* * *
Standing by the veranda window, Si-woo looked down at the city, twinkling with lights. Smoke from his cigarette swirled as he left all the windows open, allowing the cold wind to spread into the dark void.
He was dressed in a shirt, and on the screen floating in the air against the backdrop of the city’s night view, the team leader of the ISLE-affiliated Gannexi-Hexa Science Research Inst*tute was speaking.
[The base of the drug you took is VAC.]
VAC stood for “veraic acid coulisimide,” and as the name suggested, it was a modified chemical formula based on “coulisidainine,” made into a form absorbable by the Luax body.
[It seems to be a modified version of VAC, with a potent aphr*disiac effect. Whoever it is, they have quite a dirty hobby. They would have wanted to use it even if a cow was beside them.]
“…Let’s avoid such vivid analogies.”
Si-woo said as he rubbed his forehead with the hand holding the cigarette. The team leader on the screen continued, looking at the test results.
[How did you end up taking something like this? You’re usually so cautious.]
The dizziness from Ha-yeon had made him make a mistake he would never normally make. It showed that no matter how careful one was, a single mistake could be disastrous.
“Anyway, thank you for your help.”
After ending the call, Si-woo took one last drag of his cigarette and flicked it away. He then went inside and poured himself whiskey from the home bar.
After taking a sip and checking the time, he saw it was 7:11 PM.
He was anxious about whether Ha-yeon would come or not. He hoped she wouldn’t come, knowing that rejecting her was no longer within his control. Yet, his body was impatient to feel her as soon as possible.
He couldn’t understand how he ended up in such a situation where he couldn’t even decide his own feelings.
At that moment, the doorbell rang.
Si-woo slowly turned toward the entrance. The door seemed to be a portal to both heaven and hell. Whether that was possible, he didn’t know, but there was no longer a right explanation for his feelings.
His feet moved automatically toward the door. It opened, and Ha-yeon stood there.
But he was taken aback by the unexpected appearance. Ha-yeon had heavy makeup on and was wearing black strap high heels under her trench coat. Moreover, the red lipstick was the same color she had worn before.
“Can I come in?”
