Chapter 13
The time Carlisle spent with her was entirely different. She didn’t blame him for being disabled, she didn’t criticize him for being himself, and she didn’t bully him.
She didn’t reprimand him for attempting to eat, and she didn’t push him off a cliff for amusement.
She stroked his head warmly and rubbed his legs, concerned that they might hurt. She didn’t get upset with him for eating, and she didn’t make him feel foolish for wanting to put lean meat on a wolf that could easily consume him.
Sometimes, she’d run a comb through his fur to keep it cool, and at times, she’d cuddle up to him, nuzzling various parts of his body.
Carlisle liked Abella. She seemed naturally good, sweet, kind, and good-natured. This made him both happy and uneasy.
He had initially felt sorry for her, having been taken away from him. He feared that she might feel sympathy for another male, or that a worse male might come along and push him to the back of the line.
He couldn’t protect her yet, couldn’t hold her in his tiny body. He thought about it all the time.
I can’t wait to grow up and shove my c*ck into her before she turns her attention to other males and they gain her sympathy.
I want to shove my rough c*ck, the same one that had terrified her so many times before, into her tiny, wet p*ssy and wreck it.
I want to tear her insides apart with my jagged, lumpy c*ck, so she will never accept another male’s c*ck but mine.
Every night, Carlisle had these filthy thoughts.
Abella was daydreaming, her lips pursed, unaware of what he was thinking. Carlisle smiled as he looked at her sleeping form.
Wolves’ determination greatly outweighs that of humans. It was as if the Carlisle of the past had given his flesh for revenge, even going as far as to exterminate his people.
Most wolves were so focused on their goals that they would go to any extent to achieve them, whether it was hunting, vengeance, or love.
Now that his revenge was complete, Carlisle’s focus had shifted to Abella, the one who had given him a new life. He could no longer even imagine a life without her.
If she had asked, I would have gladly removed my fangs. Even if other wolves mocked me for behaving like a dog, I would renounce my wolf instincts and cheerfully wag my tail for the rest of my life if she remained by my side.
Carlisle, who was hardly older than a boy, felt his heart race at the thought of hanging on just a little longer.
He would leave his mark on her without hesitation when he reached adulthood. He didn’t mind whether she sobbed and blamed him. He’d only noticed the bitterness, hatred, and dislike after he’d made her his pet.
“Mommy…….” Carlisle, who’d slipped his hand through her, smiled sheepishly.
“Just a minute,” she said, his voice as relaxed as ever yet a little chilly.
* * *
After a few days of Carlisle’s care, Abella’s fever was down. She still had a cough and runny nose, but at least she could walk around the house on her own.
“What am I going to do……. I’ve been away from the shop too long…….” Abella sighed in frustration, making a sickly sound. Carlisle pouted, looking at her with concern.
The store, the damn store. Abella had spent the entire time she was sick worrying about the store. Carlisle must have read her mind because she smiled softly and cupped his cheek.
“Baby.”
“You’re ……?”
“Are you mad at me for worrying about you going to the store?” Carlisle blushed and bowed his head as he realized the truth.
“Oh, no, I’m not angry”
“There you go again.”
Carlisle lowered himself casually, and Abella looked at him, her eyes narrowing.
“What did your mom say?”
“…….”
“You’re not answering me anymore. Are you kidding me? Did you get a rebellious streak just because you’re now a big boy?”
He winced at the mention of rebellion and fiercely shook his head.
“Oh, no!”
Abella spoke more firmly than usual, “Yes, you are, you don’t even listen to me these days.”
“I’m sorry …….”
“You know how much it hurts me when you do that.”
He was too big to be called baby now, but Abella called him that anyway. The name had stuck.
Carlisle studied her for a moment, then shifted into wolf form and leaped onto the bed. He burrowed into her crouching form.
“Awww…….” He whimpered as if making excuses for his behavior. In Abella’s eyes, even that was adorable. She stroked Carlisle’s back, feeling the warm fur in her arms, her face suddenly softer.
“I don’t care what anyone else says, you mean the world to me, Carlisle.”
“Ugh…….”
“It would have been so hard for me to be alone when I was this sick, but I have you, sweetheart, and it hasn’t been the least bit hard.”
Carlisle leaned into her even more, feeling Abella’s hand stroke his fur lazily.
“So don’t talk to me like that…….” Abella still treated him like a child, but Carlisle was no longer a wolf pup.
His large frame and sharp fangs protruding from his flesh meant that if he sank his teeth into her, her delicate flesh would be torn apart.
Nevertheless, Abella held Carlisle in her arms and rubbed her cheek against his fluffy fur. Carlisle liked it best when she let her guard down and held him so defenselessly.
‘I could feel his trust in me, and I couldn’t help but smile. Heck, living with a beast that could eat me in one bite is not possible without faith and trust.’
Unable to control his consuming emotions, Carlisle unexpectedly changed into a human and put his arms around Abella’s waist before she could go further.
“Mommy!”
“Whoa, surprise!”
Startled by the sudden transformation, Abella let out another scream, but Carlisle buried his face in the back of her neck and wrapped his arms around her slender body.
“You’re my favorite mom, after all.”
“I know, all of a sudden…….”
Carlisle lifted his head and asked, nuzzling his nose into the silky nape of her neck and insidiously inhaling her scent.
“You like me best, too?”
Carlisle seemed innocent enough as they met eyes. His deep crimson eyes peered into hers.
“Of course. I’ve always told you, sweetheart, you’re the only family I have.”
Feeling relieved to receive a similar answer, Carlisle burst out laughing. But the sound of his own words cut through Abella’s words.
“But this sudden change in bed is not…….”
“What?”
Being a child who used to hang around my waist was one thing, but now Carlisle was an adult.
Abella shivered as she felt his firm manhood beneath her palm as she carefully pushed his pecs apart.
“Joe, a little…… yes…….”
“A little…… so?”
She shoved him away, and Carlisle started to cry, his eyes getting bigger.
“Why, why……? Mommy, you’re my favorite……. So it feels so good to just hold you like this, but is…… mommy a little bit like that……?”
Like a sweet hare, the fiery eyes curved into a submissive smile. After a brief minute of looking into his eyes, Abella turned her head away, feeling terrible for herself.
After observing her for a while, Carlisle lowered his head and said.
“……I’m sorry.”
“Oh, no, you’re not sorry…….”
“It’s just…… it’s just I like my mom so much…….”
After his speech faded, he wiped the droplets from the corner of his eye and turned to face Abella. It was almost impossible to believe he was a wolf at all from the way he looked.
“I’m sorry…… now you think I’m gross……?”
“Gross. Sweetie, what do you mean, no, you know you’re not, okay?”
Carlisle shook her head a little, disappointed.
“No…… mom, I know it’s not.”
Carlisle said, rolling onto her back and speaking in a little voice similar to an ant crawling.
“I have a lot of scars on my body and they’re ugly…….”
